More than 400 NCC Cadets from Gujarat, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar Directorates visited Rashtriya Raksha University on 25 September 2026 as part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat National Camp. Cadets explored RRU's state-of-the-art labs, drone facilities, Atal Incubation Centre, and specialised schools, gaining insights into emerging technologies, innovation, entrepreneurship and national security education. An inspiring exchange of cultures, discipline, leadership and technology - truly embodying Unity in Diversity. The visit was coordinated by 1 Gujarat Bn NCC with RRU's EDLD and School of NCC, Police & Martial Music Band (SNPMMB).

RRU inaugurates Bharat-RRU Blockchain and Crypto Centre for advanced research, education, innovation and capacity-building in blockchain, cryptocurrency and related technologies.

The Centre will conduct specialised, case-based programmes for law-enforcement officers, financial investigators, prosecutors and technical professionals. Its academic framework will provide a progressive pathway from short-term certificate programmes to M.Sc./M.Tech, Ph.D. and post-doctoral research. In parallel, it aims to develop indigenous tools for blockchain and cryptocurrency investigations to strengthen domestic investigative capability and reduce reliance on external solutions.

Building on RRU’s established expertise in Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Cybercrime Investigation, Cryptology, AI/ML, Dark Web and OSINT, IoT Security, Cyber Defence and Digital Evidence Analysis, the initiative extends these capabilities to blockchain and digital assets within a comprehensive, technology-enabled capacity-building ecosystem.

Through this integrated approach, the Centre seeks to advance Bharat’s capabilities in blockchain and digital assets, supported by specialised expertise, investigative capacity and indigenous technology development.

Bharat’s scale. Bharat’s security needs. Bharat’s professional standard

Pursuant to Hon’ble UHM Shri Amit Shah vision for a trained, tech-enabled private security ecosystem complementing public security and strengthening first response, RRU and CAPSI have signed an MoU to develop the Bharat Gold Standard for Private Security, an indigenous framework linking training, practical assessment and professional certification to India’s regulatory, operational and technological requirements.

The MoU brings together RRU’s academic, training, simulation, research and assessment capabilities with CAPSI’s industry experience and operational reach. Vice Chancellor Prof. Bimal N. Patel interacted with the CAPSI delegation led by Shri Kunwar Vikram Singh Chairman, CAPSI, along with Shri V. V. Katti, President, CAPSI, and Shri Mahesh Sharma, Secretary General, CAPSI, among others, reinforcing a strong academia–industry partnership for professionalising Bharat’s private security ecosystem.

RRU’s Advanced Security Skills Training Centre will serve as the operational platform for the partnership, combining legal and operational foundations with simulation, laboratory exposure, scenario-based learning, physical preparedness and technology-led training across areas such as OSINT, drones, K9, maritime security, CCTV, access control and integrated security systems. By linking training, assessment and certification, the Centre aims to transform Bharat’s private security workforce into a trained, technology-enabled professional force built around a Bharat-developed standard with global relevance.

RRU Signs MoU with Government of Madhya Pradesh to Support National Security Capacity Building in the State

Rashtriya Raksha University signed a MoU with Madhya Pradesh Government on 22 September 2026 in Bhopal, in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Dr Mohan Yadav and the Hon’ble Minister for Technical Education, Shri InderSingh Parmar

The MoU provides for the development and expansion of RRU Bhopal Campus, including infrastructure for academic programmes, professional training, research and capacity building in national security-related domains.

RRU Bhopal Campus currently offers programmes in Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Police Science and Management, and Strength & Conditioning, supporting the state’s capacity to address emerging security challenges through specialised education, training, technology and applied research.

A Partnership That Moves Policing Forward.

A new milestone in the journey towards stronger, smarter and future-ready policing in Arunachal Pradesh.

With the guidance and support of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu Ji and Hon’ble Home Minister Shri Mama Natung Ji, and under the leadership of Shri S D Singh, IPS, DGP, Arunachal Pradesh Police, Rashtriya Raksha University and Arunachal Pradesh Police have renewed their partnership through a revised MoU, further deepening their commitment to professional training, capacity building and knowledge development.

Taking this collaboration a step further, RRU and Arunachal Pradesh Police have also entered into an MoU for Affiliation & Accreditation, creating a structured pathway to academically align eligible police training programmes with recognised academic frameworks.

The collaboration brings together specialised police training, academic expertise and research, with a focus on strengthening training content and modules while creating avenues for professional learning undertaken through police training institutions to be connected with academic credits and recognised qualifications.

This integrated approach brings training, research and academic recognition closer together strengthening the professional development of police personnel while ensuring that their learning remains relevant to the evolving operational realities of policing.

RRU Studio, under the aegis of the Pro-VC Office, RRU, is organizing a 2-Week Intensive Certificate Course in Photography, Videography, and Content Production. This course offers hands-on training in camera operation, lighting, composition, shooting techniques, and post-production editing to help you create professional-quality visual content.

Course highlights

Professional camera handling (DSLR/mirrorless) in manual mode: aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, focus, and exposure control.

Practical sessions in indoor, outdoor, studio, podcast, and green screen shooting setups.

Gimbal training for smooth, cinematic motion shots.
Photo editing with Adobe Lightroom and an introduction to video editing workflow and final output.
