Department of International Relation - Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal & Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya- UK Program Global Leadership Program 2026, UK Orientation session.

An Interactive Session was organized on the 28 of April 2026 from 09:00 AM to 12:00 pm at the Department Office, LDRP Campus, Sector-15, Gandhinagar for the students aspiring to participate in the Global Leadership Program 2026, UK at University of Kent, UK, and Chaucer College , UK scheduled for June 2026. The session was guided by Director- DiR, Dr. Jinal Joshi. She provided valuable instructions for travel arrangements, student safety, accommodation, cultural activities, and academic experiences in the UK.
With a well-structured itinerary, strong support systems, and unfrgotable visits planned, we look forward to a meaningful journey of learning, growth, and global exposure for our students.

A seminar on “Overseas Education and Career Guidance” was organized by the Global office, Department of International Relations, SVKM in Collaboration with G7 Edu Global on Friday, 24 April 2026 at C M Patel College of Physiotherapy.
The session focused on guiding students toward global academic opportunities and diverse career pathways in Physiotherapy. Participants gained valuable insights into higher education abroad, admission procedures, scholarship opportunities, licensing requirements, and international career prospects.
The seminar proved to be highly informative and engaging, enabling students to broaden their perspectives and prepare more effectively for future professional opportunities on a global platform. The enthusiasm and active participation of the students made the session both meaningful and impactful.

Department of International Relations , Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal and Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya initiated the series of Spoken English sessions as a part of the Visa Interview Preparations for the 10th NYC Green School Conference 2026 today on the 15th April 2026 through virtual mode.
The session was conducted for the aspiring participants of the Conference which is being organized at the New York City, United States.
The DiR team guided the session, sharing important insights about the visa interview process and key guidelines.
The students were trained for the common interview questions, self-introduction, and academic and family details. They were imparted the basic information regarding the conference.
Overall, the session boosted students’ enthusiasm for the training module, and helped them prepare effectively for their US visa interviews.

We had the last session of the semester scheduled on 22nd March 2026 for the Spoken English Initiative at the Boys ‘ Hostel of SVKM at sector 23, Gandhinagar.
The day was dedicated to a partial recap of many of the fun-filled activities similar to those we did during the year, and part of it was given to the ones indicating the future course of sessions, moving to a level higher than the current semester. We had language games targeted to using the learnt things in various contexts. The students participated enthusiastically, with a mixed feeling of the joy in the present and the sense of missing that joy that was to follow in the form of a break.
We assured one another of keeping the learning alive, reading books, and meeting in the new semester for an even more joyful learning experience together.

The Global Office, DiR, SVKM was invited to CorpFest 2026 organized by the B P College of Business Administration, KSV, Gandhinagar on 17th March 2026, to deliver a session on “Higher Education Abroad: Opportunities and Pathways for Students.”
Mr. Amit Manwani, representing the Global Office, provided students with a broad overview of international career prospects after completing a BBA, while also spotlighting diverse opportunities beyond Business Studies. His insights offered students fresh perspectives on global academic and professional pathways.
The interactive session inspired students to actively engage, ask questions, and explore innovative options for their future studies—encouraging them to envision higher education as a gateway to global success.

Spoken English session today, on 15/03/2026 focused on interactive speaking activities. Through various classroom games and role plays, they practised various expressions. Additionally, they learnt various signposting words and process descriptions.
Through “Guess My Hobby”, they asked questions, and “Continue the Story” helped them add sentences to build a whole story, using connective links. Apart from this, they worked on various texts and their comprehension using different strategies, and summarized the texts they had read, as an expressional activity.
