Maths एक abstract subject है, जिससे हम space , time, change जैसे चीज़ों को define करते हैं। सुन्दरता ये है कि Maths का अपना कोई definition नहीं है। अगर आप maths के derivation पर यक़ीन रखते हैं तो mathematical terms में आदमी भी एक complex number है।

आदमी (Action +i Dreams ) का एक complicated form है। Complicated और complex से मेरा मतलब relationship status नहीं बल्कि उसके state of identity से है। जितना हिस्सा हम करते हैं वो real हो जाता है और जितना सोचते हैं वो imaginary.

हमारा imaginary हिस्सा कभी ख्वाबों की उड़ान में खोया होता है, तो कभी शाम को थककर लौटने वाले इंसान की आँखों में रात को आराम करता है। कभी बेंच पर बैठकर drooling करते हुए day dreamer के मूह में लिपटा रहता है तो कभी beach किनारे बैठे आशिकों की शायरी में खोया रहता है।

Social Networking Sites कमाल की चीज़ है। इन्होने पहले हमारे real वाले हिस्से को अपांग बनाया और फिर हमारे imaginary टुकड़े को handicap कर रहे हैं। मुझे याद नहीं कि मैं कितने दिनों से volleyball , football या carom ही खेला हूँ। मुझे याद नहीं कि कितने दिनों पहले मैं दोस्तों के साथ नुक्कड़ वाली चाय पीने गया था।

आश्चर्य मत कीजिये, पर सच यही है। अब जब हमारा real वाला dimension कमज़ोर हो चूका है तो इन्होने हमारे imaginary wing पर हमला बोल दिया है। मुझे याद नहीं कि कितने दिनों पहले मैंने खाली बैठकर हवा में ख्वाब बुने थें। मुझे याद नहीं कि पिछली बार कब साइकिल park में घुमाते घुमाते BMW पर बैठने का सोचा था।

मैंने अब day -dreaming करना भी छोड़ दिया है। आपको याद है पिछली बार कब आपने ऐसा कुछ किया था?
