We are pleased to share that a workshop on Indian Knowledge System (IKS) was successfully conducted for Semester-2 students of the BSc-MSc Forensic Science program.

The Workshop was organized on 8th April 2026 (2:30 PM – 5:30 PM) under the coordination of Dr. Arvind Kumar Saxena. The sessions were delivered by Dr. Ishwar Mehra, Associate Professor at St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad. The workshop provided valuable insights into the relevance and application of Indian Knowledge Systems in contemporary academic and professional contexts.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and proved to be an enriching learning experience.

Ms. Chitrita Chakraborty, a UGC-Senior Research Fellow at CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow, and an alumna of National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar Campus (M.Sc. Forensic Science, 2016-2018 batch), has been selected for the highly prestigious Academy of Scientific & Innovative Research, India-RMIT, Australia (Cotutelle) Fellowship Joint Doctoral Program, a collaborative PhD initiative between India and Australia designed to promote excellence in research and foster global scientific partnerships.
