The 3rd Convocation of Rashtriya Raksha University: Nurturing Young Minds for the Development of Viksit Bharat in the Era of Prosperity. Dr. S. Jaishankar honored the occasion, delivering an insightful Convocation Address where he underscored Bharat's vision for the graduating class of 2023. Prof Bimal N Patel, the Vice Chancellor of Rashtriya Raksha University, provided a concise overview of the institution's accomplishments in the academic year 2022-2023.

Students of Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus, visited the School of Criminology and Behavioral Science, RRU, Gandhinagar on 22nd November 2023. They visited the Interview and Interrogation Lab and were given a hands-on demonstration of investigative tools commonly used in the field.

The School of Criminology and Behavioral Sciences was honoured with a Certificate of Appreciation on 10th November, 2023 for its exemplary contributions to the field.

The School of Criminology and Behavioral Sciences conducted expert sessions on Mental Health Awareness for Army Personnel and their family members at the Army Cantonment, Ahmedabad on the 2nd and 3rd of November.

"Making mental health a priority, one step at a time"

The Psychosocial Care Centre at Rashtriya Raksha University has made an effort to reach out to needy people from rural backgrounds. In collaboration with Gandhighar, Kachholi, and Navsaari, the School of Criminology and Behavioural Sciences at RRU conducted a psychological service camp between October 17 to 21, 2023, as part of World Mental Health Week 2023. During the camp, twelve M.Phil. Clinical Psychology 2nd year trainees, under the supervision of Ms. Shamli Themse (Assistant Professor, CP) and mentoring from Dr. Jitendra Nanawala (Consultant Senior Psychiatrist), provided services to 57 individuals (21 female and 36 male). These services included psychological screenings, diagnostic assessments, and interventions. Counselling and referral services were also offered to those in need.

An honor to host Dr. S. L. Vaya, Chief Mentor of the School of Criminology & Behavioral Sciences at RRU, for a special visit with distinguished guests - Dr. Ly Thuch, Senior Minister of the Royal Govt. of Cambodia, Dr. Devyani U. Khobragade, Ambassador of the Embassy of India, and HE. Loy Sophath, Member of Parliament from Stoeng Treng Province in the Kingdom of Cambodia. 🤝 Strengthening international collaborations in education, diplomacy, and governance. 🌍🇮🇳🇰🇭
