Under the banner of Har Ghar Tiranga and Vande Mataram @ 150 Years, a meaningful programme was organised at the *Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat, Ganderbal, witnessing enthusiastic participation of teachers, students and youth volunteers from MY Bharat.*

On the occasion, the *CEO Ganderbal* addressed the gathering and elaborated upon the historic significance of the Tiranga and Vande Mataram, highlighting their enduring symbolism of sacrifice, unity, freedom and collective national consciousness. During the inspection, the Chief Education Officer interacted warmly with students, encouraging them to embrace curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning as the true essence of education. Ganderbal, 27 July 2026: *Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, Mr. Nazeer Ahmad Khan* , conducted an extensive inspection of various educational institutions across the district to assess *academic standards, infrastructural* requirements, and the overall learning environment.

The inspection commenced at *Primary School Nagbal and BHS Nunnar* , both of which have been affected by the Ring Road Project and the ongoing *road widening* works. The Chief Education Officer held detailed deliberations with the *Heads of Institutions* and staff members regarding the challenges faced by these schools and explored suitable measures to ensure uninterrupted academic functioning.

Later, accompanied by *ZEO Kangan, Mr. Naseem Ahmad, the CEO* visited *MS Wudder Kashnambal and MS Kati Wangath* to assess the feasibility of construction, renovation, and the development of boundary walls under *Dharti Aabha* The infrastructural requirements of these schools were examined with a view to providing students with a safe, secure, and conducive learning environment.

Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, *Mr. Nazeer Ahmad Khan* , today chaired a comprehensive meeting of Heads of Institutions (HOIs) at Girls Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Ganderbal to review the preparations for the celebration of *79th Independence Day, 15th August 2026, across the district.*

The meeting commenced with the inaugural address by *Dy. Chief Education Officer, Ms. Rumysa Sangeen,* who highlighted the historical significance and essence of Independence Day. She stressed the importance of instilling patriotism, discipline, and national values among students and issued detailed directives regarding rehearsals, cultural programmes, parade participation, student discipline, and timely completion of all assigned responsibilities.

The meeting was also attended by *ZEOs*, representatives of the *Transport Department and Youth Services & Sports Department,* who assured full coordination and support for the successful conduct of the *District Level celebrations.*
