*MCI nod to Adesh Medical College & Hospital, Haryana for 150 MBBS seats*

The Board of Governors in the supersession of Medical Council of India (MCI BoG) has recommended its nod to the Adesh Medical College & Hospital (AMCH) at Mohri, Teh. Shahabad, Distt. Kurukshetra (Haryana), to restart UG Course with an intake of 150 MBBS seats, for academic year 2019-20 vide communication MCI-34(41) (R-30)/2019 MED 108886 dated 3rd May, 2019.

MCI has granted this approval after experts expressed satisfaction upon the infrastructure, faculty strength, and other facilities during rounds of inspections conducted at the college premise since last year.

Overwhelmed with the decision of MCI, Dr. Harinder Singh Gill, Chairman Adesh Group of Institutions remarked, “We are happy that the council decided to grant approval and it is a huge moment of celebration for prospective students and college authorities. We treat this approval as a great opportunity to serve this backward region comprising Haryana districts and adjacent districts of Punjab & Himachal Pradesh”.

Adesh Medical College & Hospital is run by Adesh Welfare Society as a part of its mission to bring standard health care within the reach of every individual while committed to the achievement and maintenance of excellence. With this aim, the Society has embarked upon the AMCH so as to augment doctor-population and make available the standard medical facilities to this region.
