Sadhana Education Society

Sadhana Education Society Golden Jubilee Year 2012 Sadhana High School was founded by Mr. J.B. Bardeskar. It was inaugurated on on 11th June 1962 by Late Mr. Raosaheb Anna Kitturkar.

It was one of the first rural English medium schools in Maharashtra. At that time the population of Gadhinglaj was less than 10,000. Mr.J.B. Bardeskar (Sir) was the first Principal at that time who along with a few teacher's from Goa and Mr. Devdas Naik started teaching the first class with a total strength of Six students. The first student on Sadhana Vidyalaya's roll call was Dr.Shivkumar Kolha

pure. The school offered education to students from all walks of life. The school was initially situated in Khumbar Wada and later moved to Surgi Matth Near Laxmi Mandir Temple. The Primary Section is presently located there. The school has grown phenomenally since then and has diversified by offering education in various disciplines including Arts, Science and Vocational education. At present, there are over 3000 students studying at the school.
