Bala Vinayaka Vidyaniketan was founded in the year 1985 on the day auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi by the Founder Chairperson Smt Kamala Selvaraj with only one student to fulfill her passion for teaching and education. Her motto when she started BVV was “Education by Passion” which continues to be the main guiding principle for every teacher at Bala Vinayaka Vidyaniketan. The main focus of the

institution is to provide quality education along with emphasis on value system to groom our children to develop to their full potential and have an all-around development. The constant appreciation of the parent’s community and increase in our student strength forced us to move to larger premises and also later take additional premises to meet the requirements of growth. Education society was registered under the societies registration act. Till the year 2007 we were very happy providing only basic knowledge to the children through nursery and pre-primary curriculum. In the year 2008 due to parent’s pressure and motivation from well-wishers we started primary section. Later in the year 2010 we purchased 3 acres and 8 Guntas of land and started construction of the school building in the year 2013 and moved in to the new own premises from the academic year 2014-15. In our long journey the parents and all other stake holders have been the beacon guiding us and would continue to motivate us in our future journey to achieve excellence in the field of education and ensure that every child from BVV would be better citizen tomorrow.

80th Independence Day Celebration at BVV 🇮🇳

BVV celebrated the 80th Independence Day with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The National Flag was hoisted by Chief Guest Dr. Aditya Godakhindi, Consultant Laparoscopic & General Surgeon, Godakhindi Hospital, Gadag, in the presence of Management, Principal, Vice Principal, and students, followed by a parade.

Our LKG and UKG little stars stole the show with a delightful Fancy Dress Competition, winning hearts ✨

In his address, Dr. Aditya Godakhindi spoke about limiting mobile phone use and encouraged students to respect and value teachers and parents.

The celebration ended on a sweet note 🍬 with sweets distributed to all students, creating joyful memories.

BVV hosted an exclusive CoE Training Programme on “Value Education Through Sports & Games” for all the teachers of BVV, led by resource persons Mr. Manoj M. Bhat and Mrs. Raksha G. Kamath.

The session began with a formal inauguration and lamp lighting, followed by an engaging and informative learning experience filled with hands-on activities.

On 6th August 2026, BVV’s ELC celebrated Fruits Day with great joy and enthusiasm. Our little learners brought a wonderful variety of fresh fruits and displayed them beautifully.

The children were introduced to different fruits, their names, colours, shapes, tastes, and health benefits through interactive explanations in both English and Kannada. The activity made learning enjoyable while encouraging healthy eating habits.

On the occasion of BVV's 41st Foundation Day, the BVV family celebrated Gratitude Day, where appreciation was shared across the campus. ✨

Students, teachers, and staff exchanged heartfelt gratitude cards, expressing their appreciation to one another—from the Management and teachers to colleagues, support staff, and every member of the BVV family. 💐🤝

On 25th July 2026, BVV’s ELC celebrated a joyful Parents & Child Bonding Day, creating beautiful memories for our little ones and their families.

Parents enthusiastically participated alongside their children in a variety of engaging activities, including art and craft, singing, dancing, and fun-filled games. The event was filled with laughter, creativity, and togetherness, strengthening the special bond between parents and their children.

One of the most heartwarming moments of the day was when each child presented a gratitude card to their parents, expressing their love and heartfelt thanks.
