Introduction : 4.2. Some simple techniques of multiplication. Multiplication using normal maths in physics, chemistry and mathematics problems of High-school students consumes lot of time. Many of students after examination say that sir question paper was lengthy hence I couldn't complete paper even though I knew solution. This is because their calculation speed is slow. J.T. Glover a famous Vedic Mathematics teacher in his book writes about multiplication as follows :

Introduction : 3.5 Tables of Decimal numbers
Dear little mathematicians, many of you can multiply whole numbers easily, but when decimals come into the problem. Confusion begins. Small mistakes with Decimal numbers often lead to wrong answers. In exams, even student who know multiplication well loose marks because they place the points incorrectly.
Some common mistakes students do are
1. Placing Decimal point wrongly in the answer.
2. Treat Decimal numbers like whole numbers without adjusting the place value.
In this video we tried to show you how quickly learn the tables of Decimal numbers and multiply them correctly without confusion. Even some problems finding areas of geometrical plane figures like triangle, parallelogram, Rhombus etc. having Decimal dimensions are discussed.

But we used to by heart the tables without any techniques. But in modern competitive world it will not work. In mind maths techniques even if a student by hearts tables upto 10 is sufficient. What are the mind maths techniques of reproducing tables upto 100 without by hearting. In this chapter 3 we focused on this. Please follow the instructions explained in these topics and practice.
