Why is no one talking about pregnancy and constipation?!

Growing a baby is amazing... but dealing with bloating, gas, and feeling like you haven't gone in days?
Not so amazing.

Constipation is so common during pregnancy (thank you, hormones and a growing uterus squishing everything inside!).

Prenatal yoga helped me get things moving! I created a series in one of my online courses to help with constipation.
The pawanmukhtasana joint freeing series.

It really works by helping release gases and to get things moving 🫶🏽

Hello mamas-to-be, and welcome!
If you’re new here 🌸 hi, I’m Bree. I’m a prenatal yoga teacher, a mama of two, and someone who truly believes in the power of movement, breath, and trust during pregnancy and birth.

Pregnancy was one of the most sacred seasons of my life.
Carrying my daughter while practicing pregnancy yoga helped me feel grounded, connected, and so deeply in tune with the little life growing inside me.

I absolutely loved being pregnant and I miss my bump soooo much. So this is just a little reminder to embrace this beautiful times as it sure goes past so quick.

While I loved being pregnant so much, I didn't exactly have my dream birth first time around. I was a little sad and disappointed to have a scheduled C section. A story for another time.

But come second birth it was everything I dreamed of in the most surprising way. And thanks to Prenatal yoga which helped me birth my baby safely , manage pain, calm my anxiety, and prepare me for birth in the most unexpected way.

Now, I’m here to share prenatal yoga with you. To remind you that your body is wise, your breath is powerful, and this journey can feel supported, calm, and even beautiful.

How far along are you, mama? I’d love to connect. Drop it below in the comments 💕🌸

Tight hips in pregnancy? Try this.
Pigeon pose is one of my go-to poses in prenatal yoga to release tight hips, especially in the third trimester when your body starts to feel heavy and compressed.

Tight hips can lead to:

Lower back pain
Discomfort when sleeping
Less space in the pelvis for baby to engage
A harder time finding comfort in labor

In prenatal yoga, we work on softening and opening tight hips to help your body feel more mobile, spacious, and relaxed as you approach birth.

This pose gently stretches the glutes, hip flexors, and deep external rotators — all the places that get tight during pregnancy.

If you’re struggling with tight hips, this is your sign to add pigeon pose into your daily practice. The more love you give your hips now, the more ease you’ll feel later.

Tight hips don’t have to be your norm. Learn how you can support yourself fully in your pregnancy and birth 💕

You’re not just growing a baby—you’re holding the weight of so many unknowns.

Will your body be strong enough?
Will your baby be in the right position?
Will you be able to handle labor?

I see you.
I was you.

In a world full of advice, apps, and endless checklists, it’s easy to forget that the most powerful preparation comes from within.

Prenatal yoga isn’t just “gentle stretching.”
It’s nervous system support when anxiety creeps in.
It’s pelvic space for your baby to nestle into position.
It’s breath becoming your anchor when labor waves roll in.
It’s connection—deep, sacred, unshakable—with the little soul inside you.

This is what prenatal yoga does—for your body and your baby.
You don’t have to do this alone. I’ve got you.

Welcome to Day 29 of our 30-Day Prenatal Yoga Challenge!

Did you know your jaw and pelvic floor are deeply connected? When you clench your jaw, your pelvic floor tenses too—something to keep in mind as you prepare for birth!

During labor, a relaxed jaw = a more open pelvic floor, making it easier for baby to descend. This is why vocalizing, deep breathing, and jaw release techniques can be powerful tools for birth.

✨ Your challenge today: Every time you catch yourself clenching your jaw, take a deep breath, exhale with a soft sigh, and let your jaw relax. Notice if you feel a shift in your pelvic floor, too!

Save this post & practice throughout the day! Your body (and baby!) will thank you. 💛
