WHAT WE WANT ( POST 1)

Altough there have been a lot of developments in the school over the past couple of years, thanks to Sister Vandana and our hard-working, dedicated staff, we would appreciate if the authorities look to certaim matters that need urgent attention.

- Our school has, ever since the beginning ignored sports. It's high time now that measures are taken and students are provided with proper facilities. ( Or is it just for the moral science exams then, that we are taught the importance of games? :p)

- And can we have a canteen inside our school premises please?

- The labs seem like they have never been upgraded. Still the 80's -90's stuff there. And what's the use of a computer lab if we don't learn anything worthwhile there. Just 25 minutes in a month won't help. Practical work should be encouraged.

- A lot of change is needed in the way of teaching. First of all notes should be precise. Don't make the students write down so of pages of what is already there in the books. [ 98% of the students just refer to books during exams (Excluding chemistry) ]. Things should be explained using examples. The teacher - student bond needs to be strengthened.

We will come up with a full, elaborate post on our last point - ''How to teach'' and several other matters in a few days.
