Through this activity, students practiced identifying the numbers that come before and after a given number, making Maths learning more interactive and enjoyable.

Morning Assembly at Vivekananda Junior School

Our little stars of Grade UKG began the day with a meaningful and joyful morning assembly.

The assembly started with the Gayatri Mantra, followed by the School Pledge and a beautiful Prayer, filling the morning with positivity and gratitude.

Our UKG students enthusiastically presented a delightful rhyme, followed by an engaging GK Question Round, where they confidently shared their knowledge and participated with great excitement.

The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, fostering a strong feeling of unity, respect, and patriotism among our young learners.

Teej Dheeyan Di Celebration at Vivekananda Junior A Primary School
Teej Dheeyan Di – A Celebration of Tradition, Culture & Togetherness!
Vivekananda Junior A Primary School celebrated the vibrant festival of Teej Dheeyan Di with great pomp, enthusiasm and festive spirit. The occasion was graced by the benign presence of Smt. Prabha Ma’am, Chief-in-Patron of Vivekananda World School and Vivekananda Junior, who honoured the celebration as the Chief Guest. Mrs. Dolly Bhaskar, Secretary, VWS, and Ms. Mahima Kapoor, VP Admin, added further grace and splendour as Guests of Honour.

The celebration commenced with a warm welcome to the esteemed guests, followed by a captivating Kikli performance by a respected member of the management, beautifully setting the tone for a joyous and traditional celebration. The stunning festive decorations added charm and colour to the entire ambience.
The day was filled with fun-filled games, laughter, ramp walk and moments of togetherness, bringing everyone together in the true spirit of Teej. The energetic Kikli performance by the VJ Team beautifully showcased the richness and vibrancy of Punjabi culture.

Adding more charm to the celebration, the Little Punjaban of Vivekananda Junior A Primary School presented a delightful Giddha performance, enthralling the audience and filling the atmosphere with traditional Punjabi spirit and joy.

The gathering of all esteemed members under one roof created a beautiful atmosphere of unity, happiness and camaraderie. The celebration concluded on a high note with a special Felicitation Ceremony, where: 🏆 Ms. Gurmeet Kaur was felicitated with the title “Lambi Gutt Muttiyar”

The celebration ended with a lively dance performance by everyone present, leaving behind cherished memories, laughter, tradition and togetherness.

Independence Day Celebration
Vivekananda Junior A Primary School celebrated the spirit of patriotism, unity and national pride with a proud and memorable Flag Hoisting Ceremony on the occasion of Independence Day.

The National Flag was proudly hoisted by Mr. Deepak Singla along with the teachers of Vivekananda Junior, with utmost respect and reverence, followed by the soulful rendition of the National Anthem.

The celebration filled the school campus with a deep sense of pride, unity and love for our nation. Our young learners participated with great enthusiasm, honouring the tricolour and embracing the true spirit of being responsible, respectful and patriotic citizens.

May the spirit of freedom continue to inspire our young minds to dream big, serve the nation and contribute towards a brighter India.

Our morning assembly began with positive energy and enthusiasm. Students beautifully presented messages on Moral Values and Patriotism, inspiring everyone to be kind, responsible, and proud of their nation. The assembly encouraged our young learners to begin the day with confidence, good values, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Vivekananda Junior School came alive as our little stars celebrated “Dheeyan Di Teej” with boundless joy and infectious Punjabi spirit!

We were deeply honoured to welcome our esteemed Chief Guests and Mrs. Prabha Bhaskar (Patron-in-Chief, VWS), whose gracious presence added warmth and dignity to the celebration. Melodious student performances and thunderous Bhangra beats filled the atmosphere with pure josh and excitement! “Dhol vajje te dil nachan lagg jaan, te Bhangre de rang naal mehfil saj jaan—Balle Balle!”

Little Himanshu weaved sweetness into the air with a lovely Teej poem, while a vibrant Fancy Dress showcase brought brilliant Punjabi suits, sparkling parandas, and rich phulkari to life. Traditional boliyan and graceful movements lit up the stage with a lively Giddha performance, beautifully capturing the timeless essence of our heritage.

A thoughtful speech by Ms. Raminder reminded us to stay deeply connected to our cultural roots. With heartfelt gratitude to our Chief Guest, teachers, and participants, we wish that the bright colours of Teej bring endless happiness, love, and prosperity to every home!
