Our dancers made the most out of their time with their ravishing moves in the ‘Groovy Moovy Family’.

The coordinated steps along with the great music made their performances sparkling.

They danced with joy and excitement and bagged trophies for themselves.

Jalalabad’s Got Talent was a huge success with bringing the home cooks out of their shells and preparing gourmet meals in ‘Cooking without fire’. Well, coming out of their shells, they cooked along with the kids.

The excitement knew no bounds seeing their innovative ways and means of preparing the dishes.
The home cooks were awarded the title of DPWS MasterChef.

Jalalabad’s Got Talent was one of the city’s mega-events presented by Delhi Public World School, Jalalabad.
Among all the categories, was the Fashion Runway which presented the contestants with colorful dresses on the ramp.
Matching the beat, they walked and set the stage on fire. The contestants were judged for their style, confidence, and gait.
Questions were also asked in the final round and winners were declared then.

Also, on the ramp, we had a round for the Healthy Babies of the town. The babies came on the stage along with their parents and had a fun time walking on the stage.
It was a great time with only good vibes around.

“They say you’re stronger when you’re connected to your roots.”

A showcase of the Punjabi Virsa was put up in the Delhi Public World School on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
The traditional culture was represented through the presentation of old artifacts like radio, old television, phulkari, Utensils of the olden days, etc.

The traditional culture was truly brought alive with the spinning of the wheel and showcasing of the old methods of making whey. Folk music reverberated throughout time.
The audience transcended into a different era and the culture was imprinted right in their hearts.

The DPWS Haveli welcomed all and Makki di Roti, Sarson Da Saag with lassi was served with a bright smile.
Simultaneously, Jalalabad’s Got Talent was accomplished as well.
Ma’am Principal, Mrs. Sarabjeet Kaur Sran thanked everyone for being a part and hoped to conduct such events in the future too.

They say that you have the key to freedom if you can hold fast to your language.

International Day for the recognition of Mother Tongue was celebrated today. The kids were made aware of the importance language holds in our lives and the importance of conserving it to keep our identity true.

We wish to see our kids learning the language right from their hearts and staying rooted in their traditions.

"Blessed are those who live in the continuous presence of the true god"

The Blessing Ceremony was organized on the school campus for Grades IX to XII.
Path of Shri Sukhmani Sahib was enchanted wishing for the greater good and seeking blessings for the coming board examination.
It was a day filled with piousness around and all sat together to be one with the true God.

Admit Cards were issued and Ma'am Principal, Mrs. Sarabjeet Kaur Sran, and Vice-Principal Mrs. Priyanka Garg wished good luck to all the kids and hoped for brilliant results.

CT University, Ludhiana organized the Educators Conference on New Age Schools at JB Resorts in Ferozpur. The excellence awards were given to Principals, teachers, and students for their relentless contribution to the field of education. The event was presided over by Mr. Ranveer Singh Bhullar, MLA Ferozpur along with Mr. Amrik Singh, DPRO Ferozpur. S. Charanjeet Singh Channi, the Chancellor at CT University mentioned the role of education in eliminating every social ill.
Mrs. Archana Gaba, Chief Learning Officer at Saint Kabir Gurukul was the guest speaker of the day.

Our crew made it to the list of awardees with Ma'am Principal, Mrs. Sarabjeet Kaur Sran being felicitated with the Award of Honour for her contribution as a Principal.

Joining her were, Ma'am Vice-Principal, Mrs. Priyanka Garg, and Headmistress, Mrs. Amarjeet Kaur. Ms. Vandana and Mr. Tarun, the educators at DPWS were also felicitated with the Excellence Award.

Five of our students, Gurshabad of Grade - 7, Navneet of Grade- 8, Aniket and Avneet of Grade - 9, and Rashim of Grade - 10 were also awarded for being all-rounders in their domain.

"What’s on my bucket list?- Everywhere"

Our tiny ones went on a one-day trip to the city of lakes, Bathinda. They visited the Bir Talab Zoo and had the utmost fun. The dear safari was one heck of a ride for the kids and they were quite excited to discover facts about the various species of animals and birds. They also had an enjoyable session in the augmented reality room. Well, the whole day they ran, captured moments, and had a great time.
They also visited the Rose Garden and attended the Flower Fest and had a gala time.
Keeping the enthusiasm high, we wish to undertake more such journeys in the future.

February 4 marks the annual observance of World Cancer Day, an international event aimed at promoting awareness and encouraging efforts for prevention as well as treatment of the disease — a leading cause of death globally.

“Close the care gap” was adopted as the theme for a three-year World Cancer Day campaign (2022-2024) to address the inequities in cancer treatment and mobilising communities to fight for equitable access.
A special assembly was presented on the same theme by the kids of Grades - III to VIII.
