80th Independence Day Celebrated at Akal Academy Ajitsar, Ratia!

Akal Academy Ajitsar, Ratia celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with immense patriotism, enthusiasm, and pride. The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and a powerful human chain forming the map of India, symbolising unity and national integrity.

Students presented inspiring patriotic songs, poems, speeches, and a powerful choreography depicting significant chapters from India’s freedom struggle and the sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters. 🎶🎭 An Inter-House Rangoli Competition and Independence Day-themed painting activities further showcased the creativity and talent of the students.

The celebration concluded with a Prize Distribution and Felicitation Ceremony. Principal Madam Amanjeet Kaur appreciated the efforts of students and staff and reminded everyone that freedom comes with responsibility, accountability, unity, and respect for diversity. The memorable celebration left everyone with a renewed sense of patriotism, gratitude, and national pride.

She studies in Class IV at Akal Academy, Ajitsar Ratia. Her family works the land. Mornings are early. Life is simple. Nobody in her world talks about podiums.

Then Harsirat stepped onto a rink at the Cluster Level Skating Competition.

She skated hard. She skated smart. She finished 2nd.

That result has now opened a bigger door — Harsirat has qualified for the District Level Competition. A farmer's daughter, carrying her school's name into a wider arena.

No shortcuts. No privilege. Just a child who decided her circumstances would not decide her ceiling.
