Faridabad Education Council and District Administration of Faridabad join hands to improve quality of education in the district
A Letter of Understanding (LoU) was signed between Faridabad Education Council (FEC) and District Administration of Faridabad to formalise a public-private partnership towards the holistic development of Government Schools in Faridabad District. Sh. Krishan Pal Gurjar, Minister of State-Power and Heavy Industries, GOI and Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President- FEC and Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) signed the letter.
Through the ex*****on of the LoU, FEC and District Administration have agreed to take up four projects specifically: Facilitating Educational Development activities, Facilitating ‘Teacher on Call’ Programme, Supporting ex*****on of Shiksha Sangam Project, and Supporting ex*****on of Kaushal Faridabad Project.
The LoU was signed in the esteemed presence of Dr. Amit Bhalla, VP, MREI; Dr. NC Wadhwa, IAS (Retd.), Head-Governing Body- FEC; Dr. Samir Kumar Brahmachari, Chairperson, Sahaj Path Knowledge Foundation; Sh. Jitender Yadav (IAS), DC, Faridabad; Ms. Ritu Chaudhary, DEO, Faridabad ; Sh. Karan Kapoor, CMGGA (Chief Minister Good Governance Associate); Sh. Anand Singh, DPC; Sh. DC Chaudhary, Member, Governing Council, FEC; Ms. Sanyogita Sharma, Project Management Unit- FEC, and Director, Manav Rachna International Schools; members of FEC, Dr. O.P. Bhalla Foundation, and MREI.
Sh. Krishan Pal Gurjar said, “Skilling is an important component that can ensure employment to the citizens of the country and for this, students’ subject queries need to be resolved timely. It is appreciated that FEC has already started this with the Government schools in the sector of skilling, education and infrastructure.” He also reiterated that Faridabad has now become an Education and Medical Hub, and initiatives like Teacher on Call and Shiksha Sangam help us raise the bar of employment. He said, “There is no dearth of employment opportunities but skill in our students, and thus, focus needs to be shifted to this area prominently.”
