The human mind is complex. So is human behaviour. Understanding both requires more than theory—it demands curiosity, observation, empathy and practical application.

At Manav Rachna School of Behavioural Sciences, students take psychology beyond the classroom through hands-on learning, professional exposure and real-world experiences.

With students gaining opportunities and working across organisations such as the National Rifle Association of India, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and several other leading institutions, learning extends into diverse professional environments.

Because psychology is not just about understanding people.
It’s about learning how to make that understanding matter.

Hear Dr. Tarajanjeet Duggal, Dean, School of Behavioural Sciences, share her perspective on learning psychology beyond textbooks.

From dialogue to direction. From shared wisdom to collective action.

The Vice Chancellors’ Conclave 2026 – HARIT Campus, driven by Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi (PSG), brought two days of purposeful dialogue among Vice Chancellors, academic leaders and distinguished voices from across the country—demonstrating how a shared commitment to sustainability can move from conversation to meaningful institutional action.

PSG’s leadership in bringing together academia, knowledge systems and environmental action created a powerful national platform for universities to exchange ideas, challenge conventional approaches and shape actionable pathways towards sustainable and resilient campuses. The round-table discussions were particularly significant, translating diverse perspectives into concrete directions around the HARIT Campus Model, environmental education and capacity building, stakeholder participation, climate resilience, assessment frameworks, and research-led innovation.

A significant step forward was the signing of a Letter of Collaboration, reaffirming a shared commitment to advancing collaborative research, innovation and strategic partnerships for sustainable development—strengthening the bridge between knowledge, institutions and action.

The dialogue also extended to the HARIT Shodh Peeth: Research, Innovation & Sustainable Technology, exploring how research and emerging technologies can enable campuses to become more resource-conscious, ecologically responsible and climate-resilient.

As HARIT Campus (Holistic Action for Revitalizing Indian Traditions) concluded, it left behind more than conversations. It created a collective framework for action; drawing from the wisdom of our traditions, informed by contemporary knowledge, and oriented towards the future.

Some conversations stay with you long after they end. This was one of them.

At Manav Rachna, we hosted Prof. Chetan Singh Solanki, the “Solar Man of India,” for an inspiring conversation on India’s energy future and the choices that will shape it.

What stood out wasn’t just the conversation around solar energy or energy independence, but the reminder that sustainability begins much closer to home, with what we choose, what we consume, and what we’re willing to change.

Our students left with new perspectives, meaningful questions, and perhaps the most important takeaway of all: the future of energy isn’t something we simply wait for. It’s something we help create, one choice at a time.

Some conversations don’t just exchange ideas — they give them the confidence to grow.

At 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐇 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 ’𝟐𝟔, 𝐇𝐨𝐧’𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐚, 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐍𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐛 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢, interacted with young entrepreneurs, student innovators and emerging founders, engaging with the ideas, ambitions and ventures they are building for tomorrow.

From understanding their innovations to encouraging their entrepreneurial aspirations, the interaction became a moment of motivation for young minds ready to take the leap from idea to enterprise.

Fittingly held on 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬’ 𝐃𝐚𝐲, the summit brought together the energy of aspiring founders and the experience of leaders who understand the role entrepreneurship plays in driving innovation, creating opportunities and shaping a stronger economy.

For the students of 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐯 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐚, it was an opportunity to showcase, interact, learn and see entrepreneurship beyond the classroom — as a mindset built on curiosity, courage, problem-solving and the willingness to create impact.

Young ideas. Founder mindset. Limitless possibilities.

Sustainability becomes meaningful when it moves from intention to institutional action.

The Vice Chancellors’ Conclave 2026 – HARIT Campus has set that action in motion, bringing together Hon’ble Vice Chancellors and distinguished leaders from universities and institutions across the country at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies.

Graced by Shri Vijendra Gupta, Hon’ble Speaker, Delhi Legislative Assembly, as the Chief Guest, the inaugural ceremony marked the beginning of a national dialogue with a larger purpose: empowering higher educational institutions to become exemplars of a sustainable and resilient future.

At the heart of HARIT Campus (Holistic Action for Revitalizing Indian Traditions) is a compelling proposition: India’s traditional knowledge and time-tested practices can offer contemporary pathways for rethinking how our campuses are designed, managed and sustained.

As academic leaders come together in shared purpose, HARIT Campus creates a space for dialogue to inform policy, knowledge to inspire practice, and collective intent to translate into institutional action; exploring how Indian wisdom, institutional leadership and contemporary innovation can converge to shape campuses that are ecologically responsible, resilient and future-ready.

The inaugural session has set the tone for the conversations, collaborations and transformative ideas that will shape the sessions ahead and the days to come.

Every great institution begins with a vision. What makes it extraordinary is the courage to turn that vision into reality.

From Vision to Reality: Inspiring Stories of Indian University Founders brings together the journeys of 20 visionaries who have contributed to the evolution and transformation of Indian higher education.

Authored by Dr. Bhushan Patwardhan and Dr. Pankaj Mittal, the book offers a compelling look into the people, ideas, convictions and institution-building journeys behind some of India’s universities—revealing the human stories behind the institutions we know today.

More than a book, it is a record of vision, leadership and the power of education to shape society.

We are proud to celebrate the launch of a work that honours the architects of Indian higher education and inspires the next generation of educational leaders.

From visionaries who imagined differently to institutions that changed lives, this is where the story comes alive.
