A storytelling session on “ChintuaurJadooiBeej” was conducted for the students of Class II. The story highlighted the values of patience, hope, teamwork, and patriotism.

The Coordinator Ma’am and teachers actively participated in the session and engaged the students through interesting open-ended questions. Students and teachers were felicitated with inspiring badges titled “Nation Builder” and “Grow Your Own Nation.”

The students participated with great enthusiasm and displayed a strong sense of patriotism and responsibility towards the nation. The session encouraged them to understand that small, positive actions can contribute to building a stronger nation.

Celebrating the Bond of Love: Rakhsha Bandhan Special Assembly by UKG-A

Children presented a vibrant and heartwarming Special Assembly on RakshaBandhan, celebrating the beautiful bond of love, care and protection between brothers and sisters.

The assembly began with confident anchoring, followed by a melodious Rakhi poem and an inspiring thought of the day. The students then shared the meaning and significance of Rakhi, highlighting the values of love, respect, care and togetherness. The assembly continued with a meaningful message on the festival and concluded with an energetic dance performance on a Rakhi-themed song, filling the atmosphere with joy and enthusiasm.

As a part of the celebration, our Pre-Primary students enthusiastically made colourfulRakhis using paper, decorative materials, sticks and other creative craft supplies. This hands-on activity encouraged their creativity, imagination, participation and fine-motor skills while helping them understand the essence of the festival.

The celebration was a joyful blend of learning, creativity and cultural values, leaving everyone with a warm message of love and togetherness.

The assembly concluded with an insightful address by our Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Namita Sharma, who spoke to the students about the importance of RakshaBandhan. She encouraged them to value the bonds of love and care, respect one another, and understand that the true spirit of Rakhi lies in protecting, supporting and spreading kindness towards each other.

विषय – “क्या आज़ादी केवल अधिकार है, या एक जिम्मेदारी भी?”

दिनांक 7 अगस्त 2026 को कक्षा VIII एवं IX के विद्यार्थियों के लिए हिंदी डेक्लेमेशन प्रतियोगिता का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया गया।

प्रतियोगिता का विषय अत्यंत प्रासंगिक एवं विचारोत्तेजक था— “क्या आज़ादी केवल अधिकार है, या एक जिम्मेदारी भी?” विद्यार्थियों ने अपने प्रभावशाली वक्तव्यों के माध्यम से स्वतंत्रता के अधिकार के साथ-साथ अपने कर्तव्यों, जिम्मेदारियों और राष्ट्र के प्रति दायित्वों को भी प्रभावशाली ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया।
सभी प्रतिभागियों ने आत्मविश्वास, स्पष्ट अभिव्यक्ति और उत्कृष्ट वक्तृत्व कौशल का परिचय देते हुए शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी का उत्साह, तैयारी और प्रस्तुति सराहनीय रही।

General Assembly Report – Rainbow Theme

Grade UKG-B conducted a vibrant and colourful General Assembly on the theme “Rainbow”, spreading the message of hope, happiness, unity, and positivity through a series of delightful presentations.

The assembly began with a meaningful thought on the rainbow, where the students shared how a rainbow reminds us that even after dark clouds, beautiful and brighter moments follow.

The students then introduced and described the seven colours of VIBGYOR – Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red, explaining the uniqueness and beauty of each colour in a simple and engaging manner.

The assembly continued with a cheerful poem on the rainbow, beautifully recited by the young learners. Their confidence and expressions added charm to the presentation.

The highlight of the assembly was an energetic dance performance on a rainbow-themed song. The students performed with enthusiasm and joy, creating a colourful and lively atmosphere for everyone.

Our brilliant Class 4A students celebrated Independence Day with boundless energy and patriotic fervor! The young leaders lit up the stage with a series of beautiful dance performances and heartfelt, moving poetry that captured the true spirit of freedom. Dressed in magnificent costumes, they proudly stepped into the shoes of our iconic national leaders, paying a powerful tribute to their sacrifices. Through their inspiring acts, they also raised their voices to oppose social evils, reminding us all of our duty toward a better tomorrow. *From a Tiny Sapling to a Big Tree! 🌱*
*Our UKG & 1st Kids Learn the Magic of Patience*

One day little *Rizi* planted a small sapling in the school ground. At first nothing happened.
But with the help of *Sun, Cloud, Rain and Wind*, the tiny plant slowly grew bigger.
With *care, patience and hard work*, the small sapling turned into a big shady tree.

*What Our Children Learnt:*
1. *Importance of Trees & Nature* - Trees give us shade, fresh air and happiness
2. *Values* - Responsibility, Care and Patience
3. *Teamwork of Nature* - Sun, Rain, Wind and Cloud all work together to help plants grow

Independence Day Celebration – The Spirit of Freedom

The school is proudly celebrating 79 years of India's Independence and commemorated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotism and enthusiasm through a series of colourful and meaningful activities.

The students of Class II-A presented a vibrant class show on the theme “Independence Day – The Spirit of Freedom.” The programme began with inspiring patriotic slogans, followed by a disciplined parade that reflected unity, confidence, and teamwork. A unique Tricolour skating performance added excitement and filled the audience with pride.

The students then presented a patriotic skit portraying the inspiring lives of Mahatma Gandhi, Chandrashekhar Azad, Subhas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Rani Lakshmibai, and Bharat Mata. Through their confident performances, the children highlighted the courage and sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

The celebration continued with a patriotic group song and an energetic dance performance, both of which beautifully expressed love and respect for the nation. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, sung with dignity and pride by all.
Adding to the festive spirit, students from Nursery to Class II enthusiastically participated in a variety of Tricolour-themed craft activities. They created beautiful flags, badges, handprint art, paper crafts, and other creative items using the colours of the Indian National Flag. These activities encouraged creativity while helping the children understand the significance of the Tricolour and develop a sense of patriotism.

The Principal Ma'am appreciated the sincere efforts of the students and encouraged everyone to uphold the values of unity, discipline, responsibility, and love for the nation.
The parents of the students were also present to witness the class show. Their enthusiastic support and appreciation motivated the children and added warmth and joy to the celebration, making the event truly memorable for everyoneThe Independence Day celebration was a memorable occasion that inspired every child to cherish the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and take pride in being an Indian.

"As we celebrate 79 glorious years of freedom and commemorate the 80th Independence Day, let us honour our heroes and continue to work towards a stronger, united, and progressive India."

DAV Public School, Ballabhgarh conducted a sensitization session today for Class VIII on the topic "Bullying and Verbal Name-Calling." The session, led by our school counselor, educated students about the emotional and social impact of bullying on victims and provided practical strategies to address and prevent bullying in the classroom. Students learned how to recognize bullying, support peers who are affected, report incidents responsibly, and develop assertive, respectful communication skills.
We thank our counselor for conducting this important session and appreciate the students’ active participation. Together, we remain committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all.
