We are elated to welcome Dr. Kanu Priya as a Professor & Dean at the School of Law, Manav Rachna University.

Dr. Kanu Priya has a doctorate in Constitutional Law from Panjab University, Chandigarh, with over 17 years of blended experience in academics, research, and legal practice. With over 20 articles in national and international peer-reviewed UGC Care and Scopus-indexed journals, she is on board as an advisory and editorial member of reputed peer-reviewed legal journals.

She is also the external examiner with the Law Faculty at Delhi University. She has authored books in Immigration Laws and Real Estate published by Lexis-Nexis and Thomson Reuters. She is featured in the Board of Editors of NGT Reporter.

She was honored with the Women Empowerment Award by DSLSA and NDMC in 2019 and an Award of Honour by Maharaja Agrasen University for curriculum and pedagogy development in 2016. Her expertise is widely sought as a Judge in various Moot Court Competitions, Resource Person at various National and International Conferences. She also served as an adjunct faculty with Dhaka International University, Bangladesh.

Guiding children to the righteous path builds better Citizens!

The School of Law, Manav Rachna University, recently held the National Conference on Juvenile Delinquency: Psychological and Socio-Legal Perspectives. Hon'ble Mr. Justice M.L. Varma, Former Judge at the High Court of Delhi, graced the inaugural Session as the Chief Guest. Hon'ble Mr. Justice M.L. Varma gave an insight into how we can contribute to policy-making as law professors and students.

Prof. (Dr.) I.K. Bhat highlighted the importance of education in ensuring that children grow up to be responsible and respectable citizens of the country instead of learning to violate the laws.

The young IPS Officer Ms. Pooja Vashisth, IPS, DCP Central, Faridabad, inspired the students at the School of Law by sharing actual instances of juvenile delinquents.
The Conference was an amalgamation of views from policymakers, academics, advocates and students participating from various universities and colleges.

With the persona and camaraderie of an able and goal-oriented politician, Bandaru Dattatreya, the Governor of Haryana has been a politician, who is widely accepted and admired.
