The Foundation Day of our school, celebrated on 18th April, is a moment of great pride and joy for all of us. Established in the year 1947, just before India gained independence, our school stands as a symbol of rich heritage, dedication to education, and continuous growth over the decades.
A variety of cultural programs were organized to make the occasion special. Students participated in energetic dance performances that reflected different cultures and themes. Recitations of poems added a touch of emotion and creativity to the event, while other cultural activities brought out the diverse talents of the students.
The Foundation Day celebration was a memorable occasion that reminded us of our school’s rich history and inspired us to contribute positively to its future. It was a day filled with joy, learning, and pride, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.

🎉✨ Diwali Celebration at Mahadev Desai Public School, Sector 16 A! ✨🎉

Our School lit up with joy, laughter, and vibrant colors as students and teachers came together to celebrate the festival of lights – Diwali! 🪔🌟

From beautiful rangolis to traditional attire, diya-making competitions to cultural performances — the day was filled with festive spirit and creative expression. 💃🎨

Through these celebrations, we aim to instill in our students the values of unity, tradition, and the victory of light over darkness. It was heartwarming to see the entire school community come together and share the joy of this auspicious festival.

The Role Play Activity was conducted to help students learn through fun and imagination. In our school 🏫 the children of class 1 participated in this activity enthusiastically by dressing up as different community helpers such as doctors👨🏼‍⚕️🧑🏼‍⚕️, teachers👩🏻‍🏫, tailor , green grocer etc. Each child spoke a few lines about the character they were portraying and explained how they help us in our daily lives.

This activity helped students👩🏼👱🏻‍♂️ build confidence, improve their speaking skills, and understand the importance of different professions in our community. The classroom was filled with excitement and joy as students performed with great enthusiasm. It was a wonderful learning experience that combined education with entertainment

The ladyfinger activity is a fun and creative way to help children learn and develop important skills. By cutting ladyfingers to reveal their star-shaped pattern, dipping them in paint, and stamping on paper, kids engage in a hands-on art experience. This improves fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, and concentration. It also sparks creativity as children explore colors and patterns. Using a vegetable connects them to nature and encourages sensory exploration through touch, sight, and texture. The activity fosters patience, focus, and joy in learning, making it an enjoyable and educational tool for both classrooms and home settings. Our little champs learning and having fun simultaneously.

Earth Day is a powerful reminder of our responsibility to protect and preserve the planet we call home. At our school, we celebrated Earth Day with enthusiasm and purpose, engaging students in activities that highlighted the importance of environmental awareness and sustainability. From planting trees and organizing clean-up drives to creating eco-friendly art.

Through these activities, we aimed to instil a deep respect for nature and encourage habits that support a greener future. Earth Day is more than just a single event—it's a call to action for each of us to live more mindfully every day. We are proud of our students for taking this message to heart and being young ambassadors for our planet.

In the wake of the recent tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, we express our deepest sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the innocent lives lost and those severely affected by this senseless act of violence. This attack has shaken the core of our collective conscience and brought immense grief to the entire nation. The victims of this brutal incident will forever be remembered for their courage and innocence. Their untimely demise is a reminder of the heavy cost paid by civilians in the face of terrorism. As a community, we mourn the loss of these precious lives and stand united in condemning the cowardly act that sought to disturb peace and harmony in the region.
