Connect and Cultivate: Parent Seminar Held at Faridabad Model School

Faridabad Model School successfully organized an insightful and engaging parent seminar titled “Connect and Cultivate: Parenting With Purpose” on the school campus. The seminar aimed to strengthen the partnership between parents and educators while focusing on the holistic development and emotional well-being of students.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, teachers, and school administrators. The seminar highlighted the importance of open communication, positive parenting, and creating a supportive environment for children both at home and in school.
The Director -Mr. Umang Malik of Faridabad Model School welcomed the attendees and emphasized the vital role parents play in shaping a child’s academic and personal growth. Expert speakers and counselors shared practical strategies on effective parenting, pressure management, digital discipline, and nurturing confidence in children.

CBSE Capacity Building Programme Organised at School for Teachers

With a vision to strengthen and equip educators to ensure school safety, emergency preparedness, and effective crisis response, Faridabad Model School successfully organized a CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Disaster Management for teachers.

The day-long workshop witnessed the esteemed presence of Director-Principal Mr. Umang Malik, along with school coordinators, faculty members, and participants from various schools. The session was facilitated by eminent resource persons Mrs. Shikha Bhatnagar and Mrs. Sapna Bahl, who guided educators through essential aspects of disaster preparedness and school safety protocols.

The training session highlighted the critical role of teachers as first responders in school emergencies and emphasized the importance of preparedness in ensuring student safety. The resource persons conducted the workshop in an engaging and interactive manner, incorporating hands-on activities and real-life simulations to help teachers understand effective response strategies during disasters such as natural and man-made disasters and complex emergencies.

Participants actively explored key components of disaster management, including evacuation planning, emergency communication, first aid response, risk assessment, and coordination during crisis situations. The programme also focused on building confidence among teachers to manage panic situations calmly and efficiently.

The workshop further reinforced the importance of integrating disaster preparedness into the school system, aligning with broader educational goals and strengthening institutional safety mechanisms.

The session concluded with the felicitation of the resource persons and a vote of thanks extended to all participants for their active engagement. The programme proved to be highly informative and significant in enhancing the disaster management readiness of educators, ensuring a safer learning environment for students.

The school proudly celebrates the outstanding performance of its students in the CBSE Class XII Board Examination. The remarkable results reflect the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the students, along with the continuous guidance and support of the teachers and parents.

Megha Mittal emerged as the school topper with an impressive aggregate of 95.4%, followed by Shubham with 93.8% and Tanu Kumari with 92.2%. Mridul Sengar and S.Aishwarya also brought pride to the institution by securing 91.6% each.

The students achieved exceptional scores across various subjects. In English, S.Aishwarya scored an outstanding 99%, while Shubham, Ayush Pratap Yadav, and Ujjawal Kumar Vishvkarma secured 98% each. Tanu Kumari scored 97%, whereas Avika, Mridul Sengar, Mudita Jain, Ram Kumar and Suhana Sharma obtained 96% each. A***n and Shubhodip Haldar secured 95%.

In Chemistry, Megha Mittal scored 96%, followed by Mridul Sengar with 95%, Monisha Khatun and Mudita Jain with 93% each. In Business Studies, Dev Bansal, Lakshay Singh Bisht, S.Aishwarya and Shubham scored 95% each. Mridul Sengar secured 95% in Mathematics.
In the Science stream, Megha Mittal and Tanu Kumari scored 94% in Biology, while Megha Mittal also achieved 94% in Physics. In Commerce subjects, Shubham scored 95% in Accountancy and 93% in Economics. Yugank Raj secured 94% in Political Science. Megha Mittal achieved a remarkable 99% in Physical Education, Deepak scored 98%, while Yash Ranjan and Dev Bansal secured 95% each.

The school proudly announced that out of 72 students, 65 students scored above 90% marks in different subjects, highlighting the institution’s consistent academic excellence.
Expressing happiness over the commendable results, the Academic Director, Mrs. Shashi Bala, and the Director- Mr. Umang Malik, congratulated the students, teachers and parents for their collective efforts and wished the students continued success in their future endeavours.
