India’s Jitu Rai and Heena Sidhu take historic Gold in New Delhi The two Pistol shooters climbed atop the podium at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, ruling the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event and besting France and the People’s Republic of China, who respectively took Silver and Bronze.

( ) conducted two day long Judges/Jury and Referees Course in Shotgun Events at the campus. On the inaugural day, Mr. Ioannis Herakleons, Chief Instructor, ISSF conducted this prestigious course which saw participation from across India.

Mr. Herakleons apprised the participants of the new policies/rules formed by ISSF. On day 2, Exam/ Final Test was conducted for the participants which was followed by a brief discussion about the question paper. 12 out of 31 participants qualified for this arduous yet esteemed exam. It is noteworthy that the qualifiers can even join as Judges/Jury and Referees in any National Competition and also the Games.

It is a matter of immense pride for the Rachna family that Amit Bhalla, Vice President, MREI has been honoured with the Gold Medal and Diploma of Honour in appreciation of exceptional service to shooting sport during Asia Olympic Qualifying Competition for Shooting 2016 at the Awards Ceremony today at Vivanta by Taj , by NRAI, # Shri Raninder Singh.
