Miles to go Team MR

Team Manav Rachna Innovation & Incubation Center outshone all the stars out there and that too on March 16 now famous as Arduino Day. The Arduino Day 2019 - Hardware Hackathon was organized at Bharatiya Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering and around 20 teams from all over participated in the same.

Team MR developed a wearable gadget which was a wrist band for collecting air quality data; the band updates the data on cloud. The idea was to map air quality of the cities on a map so that in real time people can get correct updates on the quality of air in a particular region.

It was a hackathon so the entire project was developed in a time span of 10 hours.

Team MRIIC:
Devdutt (ECE, 4th year), Dhruv Rohatgi (CSE, 3rd year), Siddharth Srivastava
(CSE, 3rd year) won the top position and coupons and cash prize of 5000 INR.

Manav Rachna on an INNOVATION spree … and a WINNING spree!

Team “ ” has yet another big win this year … a Silver Award at the 2018-19.

The Infosys Aarohan Awards were established with a vision to recognize and reward individuals, teams or NGOs that are developing unique solutions for the social sector that have the potential to positively impact the underprivileged in India, at scale. The winners were selected from a pool of more than 900 submissions by a jury.

Team “Caeli” which is already the Asia Region winners of , won the Silver Award and prize money of Rs. 15 lakh. The team was felicitated by Ms. Sudha Murthy, Chairperson, Infosys Foundation. Caeli is a smart automated drug delivery and anti-pollution mask for Asthmatic and other chronic respiratory patients designed to improve the quality of life for respiratory patients living or traveling in polluted areas. It has been developed by Vasu Kaushik, Aakash Bhadana, and Bharat Sundal (CSE, 6th SEM, MRIIRS) under the mentorship of Mr Umesh Dutta. Caeli delivers prescribed drugs to patients automatically & intelligently according to the patient’s Dose Schedule, Breathing Difficulty and Pollution Levels.

Manav Rachna on a winning spree with its SOCIAL INNOVATIONS!

An Entrepreneurship Festival, ‘Idea Storm E-Summit 2019’ was conducted by IIT Roorkee in Uttarakhand on February 2 and February 3, 2019.

In the same event, our team Helix from Manav Rachna Innovation and Incubation Centre comprising Devdutt (ECE 8th sem, FET); Dhruv Rohatgi (CSE 6th sem, FET); Tushar Garg (CSE 6th sem, FET) and Palak Gupta (CSE 6th sem , FET) won second prize for its project ‘AIRY’ in ‘Productathon’.

It's a wearable band that comes with an app, embedded with sensors to accurately identify the concentration of PM 2.5 in the environment. The App helps the user to find the least polluted route while travelling from one place to another and this is done using the power of Artificial Intelligence.

Data collected from many such wearable gadgets will be sent to cloud in real time and the same is analyzed to find the best route.

The Summit united scholars, specialists and startups from across the nation and gave them an opportunity to venture out in the new era of entrepreneurship.

MRIIC shines in MIT virtual reality Hackathon

Student team from represented by Ishlok Vashistha a student of 8th Semester, B.Tech ECE and Ms. Amrit Kaur a student of 6th Semester, B.Tech CSE, were selected for which was held at MIT, Cambridge, USA from January 17, 2019 till January 21, 2019.

At the competition held during the the students were to make interdisciplinary Project wherein they bagged the Best Project Award winning a cash prize of 2500 USD for the Best use of AR in Industry thereby bringing laurels for the Institution.

Along with cash prize they won Mentorship opportunity at and an Oculus Go which is a VR Headset.

Manav Rachna’s project ‘CAELI’ makes it to the semi-finals of the 2019 Microsoft Imagine Cup!

Innovation, Ideation, Success … runs in the DNA of Manav Rachna!

Every year, tens of thousands of students from across the globe compete for cash, travel and prizes and for the honour of taking home the Imagine Cup! And with a grand history at this most coveted technology competition, Manav Rachna has yet again made it to the semi-finals of the 2019 Microsoft Imagine Cup.

Congratulations Vasu Kaushik, Aakash Bhadana, and Bharat Sundal (CSE, 6th SEM, MRIIRS) for making it to the very select list of 2019 Imagine Cup Asia Regional Finalists. Their project CAELI; developed under the guidance of Mr. Umesh Dutta and team MRIIC, is a smart automated Anti-Pollution and Drug delivery mask specifically designed for Asthmatic and Chronic Respiratory Patients. Caeli implements breakthrough features to improve the quality of life for respiratory patients living in polluted areas.

The team is now one step closer to winning the grand prize if USD 100,000. The semi-finals (or the regional finals) will be held on February 12 in Sydney, Australia.

Wishing the team all the best for the Sydney round and for the Grand Finale.
