Competitions play a significant role in shaping and motivating individuals to perform to the best of their capabilities and learn varied skills that aid their all-round development. They offer a lot more than just rewards. By engaging in different kinds of competitions one gains substantial experience, showcase and evaluate skills and discover several personality traits in the process.
Shiv Vidya Niketan School believes in the overall development of their students which includes language development, cognitive development and emotional development. The students of kindergarten enjoyed taking part in the Rhyme Recitation Competition held on 04 August 2023. They recited different poems on the topic ‘Animals’, ‘Transport’ and ‘Personal Hygiene’. It was fun filled and the students were given an opportunity to exhibit their speaking skills and confidence.

True education should aim at developing the all round personality of child. Physical activity is as necessary to children as food and sleep.Children should be good at Academic Performance as well as co curricular activities.
Sports should be given importance at school level as it works towards the child's overall benefit including general and mental health that is overall brain development and physical development. Earlier more importance were given to grades rather than any extra curricular activities. But since then education system has been changed and no more focus is given on holistic development of students. To make students all rounders , Shiv Vidya Niketan School is giving equal importance on sports and academics. Students need to keep a balance between sports and education to excel in both the fields.

Numbers have life, they are just not mere symbols on paper, they speak for themselves.
Advocating this thought, the young scholars of kindergarten section put up the Morning Assembly highlighting and appreciating the significance of numbers in our lives. It was full of infotainment, comprising of impactful speeches, recitation & thought invoking skit which brought out the essence of the theme.
The songs and dance presentation added the necessary charm to the assembly and uplifted the ambience.
The Teacher’s Presentation Enlighted the young minds with logical and sequential thinking skill.

To celebrate Monsoon showers, the pre-primary students of Shiv Vidya Niketan School , came 'armed' in their raincoats and umbrellas to splash and revel in the rain. The students of Kindergarten were brought out in open by their teachers with umbrellas and rain coats to enjoy the weather. It was fun singing rhymes in the rain. Students were also made aware of the special foods that could be enjoyed in the rainy season. They were acquainted with the insects and animals that one could encounter in the season. This 'Rainy Day' celebration was full of fun and frolic.
