The students of Class IIA and IIB brightened the morning with a cheerful assembly on “Summer Vacation – Sunny Days, Happy Ways.” Through poems, speeches, group presentations and lively dance performances, the children beautifully shared the joy of summer holidays. The young learners also emphasized that vacations are the perfect time for learning new hobbies, spending time with family, enjoying nature and creating beautiful memories. Their happy smiles made the assembly truly special.

Modern Delhi International School recently organised an engaging Group Discussion for the selection of the School Appointees from Classes XI and XII for the new academic session. The event served as a vibrant platform for young minds to exhibit their oratory skills, leadership acumen and analytical abilities.
The participants enthusiastically engaged in stimulating discussions on contemporary issues such as “The Domino Effect of Poor Leadership: How One Decision Can Change the World” and “Lift People, Not Just Rockets: The Real Race.” With commendable poise and intellectual depth, the students put forth compelling arguments, profound insights and well-reasoned opinions that enriched their discourse.
The session resonated with candid expression, thoughtful exchange of ideas and respectful listening, reflecting the maturity and leadership potential of the participants. Their clarity of thought, confident articulation and ability to analyse complex issues left the audience and mentors spellbound.

🌍 One Earth, One Chance💚
On the occasion of Earth Day, the students of Classes II-V visited a nursery to explore the beauty of nature and learn the importance of plants and environmental care. Adding to the celebration, students of Classes V F and V G presented a meaningful assembly featuring thoughtful speeches, multilingual thoughts, poems, a touching skit and a vibrant dance performance. Through these activities, students beautifully spread the message of protecting Mother Earth and taking small steps towards a greener tomorrow.

The students of Classes 9 G and H presented a thought-provoking assembly titled *‘Feed the Future’.
The program began with a prayer of gratitude, followed by an uplifting performance by the morning choir that set a reflective tone for the day.
Teacher’s presentation further reinforced the message, highlighting the urgency of addressing global hunger and the role young people can play.
Director Principal Dr. U.S. encouraged the students to think deeply about conscious food choices and food safety, urging them to be mindful consumers and responsible citizens.
The highlight of the morning was a powerful one-act play adapted from Oliver Twist, which brought the issue of food insecurity to life on stage. The assembly concluded on an energetic note with a group dance that celebrated hope, unity, and the call to action.

Keeping this spirit alive, students of Classes 9 and 10 engaged in active discussions on two thought-provoking topics:

The sessions highlighted the students’ critical thinking, depth of understanding, and willingness to take responsibility for shaping a better tomorrow. Their reflections showed that leadership begins with empathy, accountability, and the courage to lift others.

🌾 A morning assembly on the theme “Every Meal Matters, Every Morsel Counts” was conducted by the students of Classes IV E and IV F. The assembly began with a soulful prayer, followed by inspiring thoughts, meaningful poems and informative speeches spreading awareness about the importance of valuing food and avoiding wastage.
The skit “The Journey of One Grain” beautifully highlighted the journey of food from farms to our plates and inspired everyone to respect every grain of food. The assembly concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.

This week, our little stars stepped into a world painted in sunshine and shaped with tiny triangles! From messy turmeric magic to dotty Q-tip creations, from peek-a-boo giggles to cheerful team fun—every moment sparkled with joy. With pom-poms bouncing and smiles shining bright, learning turned into a playful celebration of colour, shape, and happiness!

Students of Class 7 participated in a Subject Enrichment Activity in Hindi, using creativity to highlight a critical global issue.
Through vibrant posters, they advocated for Water Conservation — a burning and pressing need of today. The activity not only strengthened their Hindi language skills but also deepened their awareness of environmental responsibility and the importance of sustainable living.

Sweet Bites for Sweet Mom!
Our little chefs of class Prep celebrated Mother’s Day with hearts full of love and joy. With great enthusiasm, they made delicious coconut ladoos and carefully packed them in special take-home boxes for their mothers.

The activity was brimming with excitement, creativity, and affection as the children expressed their gratitude in the sweetest way possible.
