We celebrate Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October every year in remembrance of our beloved Father of Nation. This year 2021 is remarked as 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. We recall his struggles for getting us free India and pay our heartfelt tribute to Gandhi ji for all his sacrifices made for the country.

As the schools are closed since March 2020 due to pandemic Covid-19, we have switched over to online teaching mode. Being at home, there has been a regular and rigorous instructions from school teachers to students for dynamic contribution to celebrate this Grand Day. This year too we celebrated 152nd Gandhi Jayanti but it was all together in different mode – Virtual.
Our students and teachers actively prepared speeches, poems, dances songs and a short skit on the life of Mahatma Gandhi. All of these were showcased to all the students of the DAV Public School , Ballabhgarh Pre- Primary wing through Live Online ZOOM Meeting held on 1stOctober2021
The celebration was finally concluded with the National Anthem.

Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration by LKG and UKG class.
The objective of this Celebration was to help Children understand the ways and importance of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi
Children celebrated Lord Ganesha's birthday wearing traditional clothes like Dhoti Kurta ,Kurta Payjama and self made Ganesha's masks.
Prayers were offered in the form of Ganesh Aarti . Children enjoyed the Prasad of Modaks and wished love and happiness for everyone.Various poems on Lord Ganesha were recited and Children danced to the Ganesh Chaturthi songs.
They crafted Ganesha's clay idols followed by the visarjan ceremony.
The event was celebrated with a lot of joy 🌟

मेरे सपनों की भाषा हिन्दी

विश्व की सबसे बड़ी भाषा है हिन्दी”

आज 14 सितम्बर है हिन्दी का दिन­ हिन्दी दिवस आज ही के दिन हिन्दी को संवैधानिक रूप से भारत की आधिकारिक राज भाषा का दर्जा मिला था।
हिन्दी भाषा की संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने और फैलाने के उद्देश्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए डी ए वी पब्लिक स्कूल बल्लभगढ़ की प्री प्राइमरी विंग में यह दिवस वर्चुअल प्लेटफार्म पर अत्याधिक उत्साह के साथ मनाया गया।
कार्यक्रम में देश में हिन्दी भाषा का महत्व व संस्कृति में योगदान विषयों पर बच्चों ने अपने विचार प्रकट किए।
कार्यक्रम का मुख्य केन्द्र बिन्दु एक लघु नाटिका रही ­ जिसके माध्यम से बच्चों को हिन्दी दिवस कब क्यों तथा इसके महत्व को दर्शाया गया।सपनों की भाषा तो हिन्दी होती है।सपनों को तो हिन्दी में देखने का हकदार सबको होना चाहिए।राष्ट्र की भाषा नींव होती है तो बच्चों को हिन्दी को सिखाए तथा देश को मजबूत बनाएँ।इस अद्भुत संदेश के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन किया गया।

Happy Teachers’ Day

A special assembly on Teachers’ day was conducted by the students of Class II. The programme began with a short video depicting the importance of a teacher followed by speech, dance, poems, stories and educational quotes. The captivating dance performance on Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu was appreciated by all. The kids described their teacher in a unique way and expressed their gratitude towards them.

Birthdays are always special, so is the celebration.Preprimary Wing celebrated Janmashtami with great zeal and pomp .Little Krishna and Radha look adorable in their traditional costumes and danced to their enjoyment.The soulful rendition of"Chotti Chotti Gaiya"with simulating action was engaging.Classes UKG ,I &II participated in craft activities. They decorated Lord Krishna's crown, flute & matkis .It was a fun-filled edutaining morning.

Rakshabandhan Celebration in Preprimary Wing

The bonding between a brother and a sister is simply unique and is beyond description in words.The sister ties a holy thread around the wrist of her brother.This thread with sisterly love is rightly called the Rakhi since it means "a bond of protection"
Here at DAV Ballabhgarh Rakshabandhan was celebrated with lots of love and happiness.The new age Rakshabandhan emphasise both brothers and sisters protecting, helping and loving each other for a better tomorrow.

Freedom is never dear at any price. It is the breath of life. What would a man not pay for living?
The 75th Independence Day should be an inspiration for us. Our nation should be “India First” , it should be the basis of all our decisions ‘Amruta Mahotsav’ being celebrated as people’s movement by the Government of India.
On 13th Aug’21, Pre Primary Wing celebrated 75th Independence Day virtually with enthusiasm and pride. As part of the celebration, children paid tribute to our freedom fighters and rekindled the history related to them by slogans, quotes. An animated video was also shared with them. Children sang various patriotic songs and gave dance performances. They also played Casio and Harmonium while singing Vande Matram and National Anthem to mark the significance of this day which remind us of the valour and struggle of our great Freedom Fighters.

To celebrate this special bond of love, understanding and trust, students of class I Tulip presented a virtual Assembly on *“International Friendship Day”.* 💝💝🫂💝💝
Children presented rhymes, songs , beautiful quotes on virtues of true friendship and value of friends in life.
The students shared Friendship Recipes and what they would like to put in the Friendship Jar. The Chair Prop Dance on “ Tere Jaisa Yaar Kaha…” was tremendous.
The soulful rendition of the Friendship of Krishna & Sudama was exquisite and bagged appreciation and applaud by all. 😍😍
Everyone was enthralled by the impeccable performance of the students.

At DAV, we raise environmentally responsible global citizens. Global International Tiger Day is celebrated every year on 29th July. ‘Saving Tiger’ is not only our duty but also our responsibility. It is to raise awareness regarding Tiger conservation.
To promote this cause, Class I Pansy students conducted a special assembly on ‘Save Tigers’ and shared important facts. Children exposed the danger of these magnificent creatures being extinct, if they are not saved timely. They joined their hands showcasing the life of a Tiger through rhymes and a beautiful dance performance.

An event dedicated to our all supportive parents and to honour them, classes LKG & UKG celebrated the first ever virtual “ Parents’ Day” on 24th July 2021.
The parents and children put up beautiful performances comprising songs, skit, poems and sharing memorable moments. The success of the programme was evident from the happy and joyful smiles on their faces.
We are grateful to all the lovely parents for their exuberant participation.
