Department of Environmental Sciences extends best wishes to Prinshila Gandhi, student of MSc Environmental Sciences for paper presentation in 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁 the National conference on VAYU- The Vital Life Force to be held on 3-4 December 2022. It is organised by 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 & 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲, 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮.

She is presenting a case study of Odisha based Startup - 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗵𝗶 𝗢𝗣𝗖 𝗣𝘃𝘁 𝗟𝘁𝗱 that developed a 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗿 and presenting the Topic 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝗣𝗮𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝘆𝘂.

She is representing 𝗝𝗖 𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗧, 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮 as a student delegate.

The students of MSc. Environmental Sciences of JC BUST, YMCA, Faridabad attended 𝗥&𝗗 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗜𝗧 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗵𝗶 on 14th October 2022.

𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗲 & 𝗞𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻 was a two-day celebration of India's breakthrough innovations in agriculture. The program aimes at bringing together farmers from across the country for the Kisan Sammelan alongside innovators & agri-entrepreneurs for the startup exhibition at the Conclave.

It was attended by over 15,000 farmers & FPOs, more than 500 agri-startups, senior Government officials, policymakers, industry veterans, scientists, and academicians — the program fostered exchange of ideas, discussion on pressing challenges, and the way forward.

It was a great experience for our students gaining the knowledge about emerging technologies in mitigating air, water pollution with very low cost innovative solutions and getting gist about them. It was very interactive session with Professors and research scholars of different IITs to learn the technical aspects and commercialisation of products in the market. It proved to be a value addition to their knowledge and a good move towards Government’s target of achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) by 2030.

The PhD scholars of the Dept. of Environmental Sciences, JC Bose Ust, YMCA, had a privilege to attend 4th 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗜𝗖𝗦𝗘) 𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀.

𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝘂𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, a non-profit organization working towards environmental sustainability organized its 4th International Conference on Sustainability Education (ICSE). The two days conference was held in 𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗣𝗘 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅, 𝗝𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝗵𝗿𝘂 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴, 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝗩𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗿, 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗵𝗶 and featured several keynote addresses in 3 plenaries, 17 thematic sessions, exhibition, oral and poster presentations besides inaugural and concluding plenaries. The conference offered a host of special highlights with key environmental organizations such as 𝙐𝙉𝙀𝙎𝘾𝙊, 𝙐𝙉𝙀𝙋, 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘾𝙀𝙀), 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝙁𝙀𝙀, 𝘾𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙝𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙣), 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙖, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙚 (𝙏𝙀𝙍𝙄), 𝙒𝙒𝙁 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙖, amongst many others as partners. It has been three continuous years that the ICSE is being organized by Mobius Foundation in partnership with 30+ organizations for focusing on various aspects of sustainability education.

Themed, ‘𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲’, this year’s two days conference through a futuristic approach provided some great networking opportunities for making connections and strengthening partnerships.

Foundation Day was observed on September 16, 2022, at the JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad.
Nikhil Chaudhary, a master's student in Environmental Sciences, received the Outstanding Achievement Award for his community services. This honour has been given to him in recognition of his contributions to the community and commitment to lead society towards a positive path.

At Vivekanand Auditorium, this award was presented out by Prof. B.K. Kathuria (Chairman, Haryana State Higher Education Council), Honorable VC S.K. Tomar, the registrar, and Dr. Girish Sahni (Former Director, CSIR).

We wish him the best and encourage him to continue down this positive path to achieve additional awards.
