Did you know about Mahatama Gandhi ?

- In May 1883, 13-year-old he was married to Kasturbai Makhanji. In the process he lost a year at school.

- His mother, Putlibai, belonged to the Pranami Vaishnava community and was his fourth wife. The first three wives apparently died in childbirth.

- He worked as an editor for many English, Hindi and Gujarati newspapers in India and South Africa, including the Harijan, Young India and Indian Opinion (South Africa).
