IEEE TKMIT SB is proud to announce that the one day inter college event , ZYGOS 17 received positive responses from all the participants. The event was aimed in imparting technical and soft skills to the students in the first and second year of Engineering. It was held on 18th Nov 2017, from 9:00am to 4:00pm, at TKM Institute of Technology.

The event was inaugurated by Mr. Bibin Parukoor Thomas, one of the most talented alumni of the institution and the presidential address was delivered by Dean of the institution, Prof. Madhusoodhanan Pillai.

The event included three parallel sessions:

1)Reboot: A technical talk by Mr.Richi Panicker, CEO at Dropout Cafe and a tecnical maker party
2)A paper presentation where students from various trades took part in
3)A workshop on MATLAB basics handled by Mr. Harikrishnan and Mr. Girish.

As part of the IEEE day celebrations and IEEE week observed, IEEE TKMIT SB had a technical lecture sessions on, PROJECT SOLI and ANDROID APP DEVELOPMENT by Akhil Suseelan, Bipin Babu and Heinek Halwin of S7, CSE dept. for the the students of TKMIT. The event had more than 80 participants, which was a quite a happy thing. The session was concluded with cake cutting and feedbacks.
