For the students of Class VIII, IX and X; and their parents

If you are thinking that after class-XII you will be looking for national level institutions for higher studies, then you must start preparation from now. It is observed that people think for preparation after class-X and it is too late for make proper plan. This is one of the reasons why the students of our region could not perform well in the national level examinations.

What way to start the preparation. Please consider the following points:

1. To start the preparation, it does not mean that one has to go to COACHING institutions from class-VIII onward.

2. If someone is going to coaching institute from class-VIII onward, then he/she will be wasting time on that activities. Secondly, it will be not clear to parents what is the real potential of the students. If students can figure out some basic concept without the help of a private tutor, then only one can judge the true potential of students.

3. You must know the competition level of all the national level entrance examinations. More than 10 Lakhs students appear for examinations (JEE-MAIN and NEET). Out of those students best lot try for IITs, AIIMS, etc. To get a seat in good institutes, one should be within the rank of 20000 in the national level.

4. How do we know that our students will be within top 20000 in entrance examinations? Without knowing the true potential all try for national level examinations and finally land up in state-level seats.

5. To have an idea about the potential of a student, students of class VIII, IX and X must subscribe for study materials (Distant Learning Program) of some good coaching houses of the national level (e.g., Allen, FIITJEE, Resonance, etc.). Students must try to solve the questions of those study materials.

6. If a student can solve around 50% of questions by his/her own effort, then it is observed that he/she has the talent to compete for national level examination. If the student can solve less than 40% of questions by his/her own effort, then parents must think it twice to stress him/her for national level seats.

7. If a student can solve more than 80% questions, then he/she has a natural talent and do well in the entrance examination. This class of students should not go for any coaching classes at For the students of Class VIII, IX and X; and their parents

If the target of those students is to get a THREE digit RANK, then they can move out of Guwahati for better guidance.

This is our observation. Now it is your call to follow it or not. Our suggestion is that please provide some extra study materials to students at an early stage.
