🛡️ Mission Shakti: Empowerment, Cyber Security & Traffic Awareness

Sir Madanlal Group of Institutions, Etawah organized an informative workshop under Mission Shakti, focusing on women’s safety and empowerment, cyber security, and traffic awareness.

Students from the Pharmacy, Management, and Computer Applications departments actively participated in the session and benefited from valuable guidance on personal safety, responsible use of digital platforms, cyber awareness, traffic rules, and their role as responsible citizens.

The session featured Dr. K. K. Mishra, Inspector, Civil Lines, Etawah; Mr. D. K. Sharma, Sub-Inspector, Police Station Panchshil; and Ms. Arti, Sub-Inspector & In-charge, Mission Shakti, as resource persons. They interacted with students and shared practical insights and essential safety measures.

The workshop provided students with greater awareness of safety, security, digital responsibility, and road discipline, contributing towards a more informed and responsible student community.

🌿 Hands-on Learning in Pharmacognosy | Herbal Digestive Churna Formulation 🌿

As part of its practice-oriented teaching approach, B.Pharm students of Sir Madanlal Institute of Pharmacy, Etawah successfully formulated a Herbal Digestive Churna in the Department of Pharmacognosy under the guidance of Dr. Shweta Jain, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacognosy.

The activity provided students with hands-on training in herbal drug identification, formulation techniques, and quality evaluation, strengthening their practical understanding of traditional and modern pharmaceutical sciences.

🚨 PCI की बड़ी घोषणा | B.Pharm छात्रों को मिली बड़ी राहत

फार्मेसी काउंसिल ऑफ इंडिया (PCI) ने 23 जुलाई 2026 को एक महत्वपूर्ण आदेश जारी किया है। इसके अनुसार Academic Year 2025–26 तक B.Pharm में प्रवेश लेने वाले सभी छात्र पुराने B.Pharm Syllabus (2016–17) एवं उस समय लागू विनियमों के अनुसार ही अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी करेंगे। उन पर नया B.Pharm Syllabus 2026 (NEP 2020 आधारित) लागू नहीं होगा।

📌 मुख्य बिंदु:

✅ नया B.Pharm Syllabus 2026 (NEP 2020 आधारित) केवल Academic Year 2026–27 से प्रवेश लेने वाले छात्रों पर लागू होगा।

✅ Academic Year 2025–26 या उससे पूर्व प्रवेशित सभी छात्र पुराने B.Pharm Syllabus (2016–17) एवं संबंधित विनियमों के अनुसार ही अपनी डिग्री पूर्ण करेंगे।

✅ जिन छात्रों के Backlog होंगे, उन्हें अगले सेमेस्टर में अध्ययन जारी रखने की अनुमति होगी तथा वे अपने Backlog विषयों को साथ-साथ पूर्ण कर सकेंगे।

✅ जिन छात्रों की Attendance निर्धारित मानक से कम होगी, उन्हें संस्थान द्वारा Special Classes, Additional Instructional Hours अथवा अन्य अनुमोदित व्यवस्थाओं के माध्यम से Attendance पूर्ण करने का अवसर प्रदान किया जाएगा।

✅ इस व्यवस्था का उद्देश्य पुराने सिलेबस के विद्यार्थियों को बिना अनावश्यक शैक्षणिक बाधा के अपनी डिग्री पूर्ण करने में सहायता प्रदान करना है।

🎯 छात्रों के लिए प्रमुख लाभ:

* नए सिलेबस में स्थानांतरण की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी।
* Backlog के कारण पढ़ाई बाधित होने की संभावना कम होगी।
* Dropout Rate में उल्लेखनीय कमी आने की संभावना है, क्योंकि छात्र बैकलॉग विषयों के साथ अपनी नियमित पढ़ाई जारी रख सकेंगे।
* समय पर डिग्री पूर्ण करने के अवसर बढ़ेंगे।

यह निर्णय देशभर के हजारों B.Pharm छात्रों के लिए अत्यंत राहतकारी एवं छात्रहित में लिया गया एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है, जिससे उनकी शैक्षणिक निरंतरता बनी रहेगी और Backlog के कारण होने वाले अनावश्यक विलंब एवं Dropout की समस्या में कमी आने की संभावना है।

We are delighted to share that the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has accorded approval for practical training of D.Pharm students in NABH-accredited hospitals. This progressive decision marks a significant milestone in strengthening pharmacy education by providing students with quality clinical exposure in accredited healthcare institutions.

We sincerely express our gratitude to the Pharmacy Council of India for this visionary initiative, which will facilitate timely practical training, promote clinical excellence, and reduce the burden on Government hospitals and their associated healthcare units.

Sir Madanlal Institute of Pharmacy, Etawah proudly has its own 150-bedded Multispeciality Parent Hospital, accredited by both NABH and NABL.
