Almost 2400 years ago, Aristotle wrote: "for the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them."
About 100 years ago John Dewey said, "Give the pupils something to do, not something to learn; and the doing is of such a nature as to demand thinking; learning naturally results."
As the name suggests, learning by doing deals refers to performing activities and experiencing the concepts and processes rather than just mugging up the syllabus in the classroom. It is indeed an excellent option to learn with experiences rather than just reading the chapters.
BENEFITS OF 'LEARNING BY DOING' -
1. Real experiences encourage students The experiences from the performed hands-on learning activities stay longer in the mind of students. No wonder people don't learn to swim by reading the instructions! This is why at Cograd's schools, we feel that experiential learning is the most natural way to teach students.
2. Fun meets Learning
Students quickly get bored by the theoretical approach. They may start making excuses. This is where hands-on learning comes to the rescue. Remember, the best period of your school days? Most will say it was either Sports or Arts/Crafts
3. Fosters Problem Solving Attitude Every activity becomes fun with challenges. Performing activities on a regular basis, build a problem-solving attitude among students.
4. Enhances Creative Thinking Various research suggests that when children experiment, they creatively learn new things. Creativity can't be exhausted, no matter how much you use it.
Children need new ways to learn, grow, and succeed in today's competitive world. Team is determined to bring a revolutionary wave of world-class education to rural and unreached India. Our curriculum includes various hands-on learning activities and a skill-based fun learning approach.

There are three stages of life: when we believe in Santa Claus; when we do not believe in Santa Claus; when we become Santa Claus.
Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for laughter, and for coming together with family and friends. It was surely a Christmas to remember at all of Cograd's schools. The schools wore a festive look with bells, lights, and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree.
Several activities such as decorating Christmas Trees and making Christmas Cards were organized for the students. The children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the students.
The essence of Christmas came alive when our little Santa Clause himself went into the classes and moved around distributing chocolates to students.
We are sharing glimpses of the Christmas celebration at Cograd's Ranjeet Singh Public School, Etawah. We will further be sharing the Christmas Celebration of our other schools. Wishing you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year filled with health, wealth, and joy.
