📣 **Summer Internship Opportunity in VLSI & RISC-V!** 🚀
The Department of Electronics at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is currently inviting applications for a summer internship programme. Interns will contribute to the exciting project titled "DSP and AI workload tuned Embedded RISC-V Processors," funded under the MeitY Chip to Startup (C2S) Program.
🎓 **Eligibility:** 2nd-year MTech students in a related specialization.
⏱️ **Duration:** A 4-week engagement, offering selected candidates the unique opportunity to transition this into a final-year project.
**What to Expect:**
* Hands-on training covering both hardware and software aspects of ASIC and FPGA design flows.
* Practical experience utilizing industry-relevant tools and methodologies to build a strong foundation in VLSI design.
* Students selected for a full project extension will tackle real-world design challenges, gaining exposure to live projects and chip tapeout activities.
**Selection Process:**
* Candidates will be evaluated based on their academic record, research aptitude, accomplishments, and area of research interest.
* Shortlisted candidates will be informed directly via email.

💻 **Highlights:** 50 hours hands-on lab, Cadence and Xilinx tools, full RTL to GDS flow, and Zynq FPGA SoC integration. Standout participants have the option to extend to a one-month internship or group tapeout!
