Department of Physics and ICARD, Malda College, successfully organized a Workshop on *"Telescope Making and Night Sky Observation for Beginners"*, providing participants with an engaging introduction to the fascinating field of astronomy through hands-on telescope construction, practical demonstrations, and guided observation of celestial objects.

Sponsored by IUCAA, Pune, the workshop was designed to promote scientific curiosity, encourage experiential learning, and inspire participants to explore the universe through direct interaction with astronomical instruments and concepts.

On February 6th, 2025, 𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗗, 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 in collaboration with Paschim Banga Vigyan Mancha, Malda Branch hosted a fascinating lecture on "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞" by renowned astrophysicist 𝐃𝐫. 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐝 𝐃𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐢.
Dr. Duari's engaging presentation revealed the wonders of the cosmos, inspiring attendees and deepening our understanding of astrophysics.
