Pongal celebrations held at v s Lakshmi women's degree and pg college, kakinada. Various competitions like Rangoli , Miss.charming, Miss.elegant and Miss.traditional were held and the crowns were given to them.Students danced in cultural attire around the holi fire.
The college premises look like a traditional village during the celebrations.

We congratulate our II MPC student, Ms. P. Dhatri, who won Silver Medal in the All India Inter University Women's Weight Lifting Competition in 76KGS and we feel very much proud. And we feel very happy in this incident as she received the appreciation from the Adikavi Nannaya University Vice Chancellor Dr. M. Jagannadharao garu. We wish her for the best in future endeavors.
