The Law School Admission Test is one of the major law entrance exams. Students who take up the field of law are aware of this skills-based examination. Registration process for LSAT has begun from 6th December 2019, and will continue till May 1, 2020. The test is specifically designed to analyse and assess skills required for success in law schools and practice of law.

LSAC has introduced major changes in LSAT 2020 exam. The paper will now have an added section - Variable Section. The section will be ‘un-scored’, comprising 23 unidentifiable questions which can be from Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, or Reading Comprehension section. Therefore, students are advised to attempt all questions carefully.

LSAT paper is designed in a manner that it assesses critical thinking skills of test takers via multiple choice sections. The paper, conducted in pen and paper mode, is divided into 4 sections - Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and Variable section (recent addition).

AILET is a test of one's aptitude and reasoning abilities. It comprises of five sections namely: Verbal Ability, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge and Legal Aptitude.

Symbiosis Law School is a constituent college of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University). SLS was ranked seventh in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2019. It was ranked 3rd in India by India Today's "India's Best Colleges 2018: Law", ninth in India by Outlook India's "Top 25 Law Colleges In 2017" and 10th in India by The Week's "Top Law Colleges 2017".

Symbiosis International University (SIU) has released SLAT 2020 application form on January 22, for admissions to UG law programmes; last date to apply is April 16. Candidates looking for SLAT admissions can now apply for SLAT 2020, through the online application form. Eligible applicants will have to appear in SLAT 2020, an entrance exam, earlier known as SET Law. There will be a common SLAT exam all participating law institutes.

SLAT 2020 will be conducted in online mode on May 2, 2020. After the conduct of SLAT 2020, the authorities will release SLAT result 2020. While the exam is common for all law schools of SIU, the counselling and seat allotment process will be conducted separately in all participating colleges.

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralised test for admission to 21 National Law Universities in India. 43 other education institutes and two public sector institutes are also eligible to use these scores. The test is conducted by the 21 participating law schools in rotation, in the order of their establishment, starting with National Law School of India University which conducted CLAT-2008, And now up to National Law University Odisha which conducted CLAT-2019.

The test is taken after the Higher Secondary Examination or the 12th grade for admission to integrated under graduation programmes in Law and after Graduation in Law for Master of Laws (LL.M) programmes conducted by these law universities. The two-hour admission test consists of objective type covering questions on Elementary Mathematics or Numerical Ability, English with Comprehension, General knowledge and Current affairs, Legal Aptitude and Legal Awareness and Logical reasoning.

CLAT is organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities consisting of the representative universities.
The CLAT 2020 exam will be conducted on 10 May 2020. Registrations will open on 1 January 2020 and remain open until 31 March, 2020.
