B Zone Junior Basic School

A very special day of my life. Started a scholarship in my dad's name SATYABRATA MUKHERJEE / in our neighborhood school at Durgapur. West Bengal. I lost him very young 1977 at age of 9. He was the chief control engineer of DPL PROJECTS / Durgapur 2.from 1956 to 1977. In his time DPL flourished and reached the maximum power productivity range. He employed at least 67 new hires and became an institution of modern work culture.
A small tribute to my hero....21 scolarships to elementary school of B ZONE JUNIOR BASIC SCHOOL...AWARDED by my sister MS Parbati Chatterjee....A SMALL CEREMONY AT PRIZE DISTRIBUTION.. good way to start happy new 2015. LET US BE HUMBLE AND LIGHT THE WAY TO FUTURE.

মনে রাখার মত দিন। আমাদের ছোটবেলার স্কুলে আমার বাবা সত্যব্রত মুখোপাধ্যায় এর নামে স্মৃতি পুরস্কার। একুশ জন মেধাবী ছাত্র ছাত্রী কে। ভরা থাক স্মৃতিসুধায়। আর আমাদের পুরনো বাড়ির সাথে মোহরের পরিচয়। সেই চঁাপা ফুলের গাছ।

Memorable days of our school

Second year of giving scholarship and prize for my dad's name Sri Satyabrata Mukherjee at my elementary school at BZONE JUNIOR BASIC ....my sister Parbati Chatterjee and our new family bride Payel Roy distributed the prizes and scholarships to 21 students. Our sincere thanks to head mistress Sanjukta Bose and Partha sarathi Mandal to make it happen. Thanks to Arindam Banerjee for information. Salute to my mother Purnima Mukherjee for inspiration. Independence day celebration at my old school.....precious moments.....raising flag

I am proud to start my elementary school page today at Facebook. I attended here 6 years of my elementary school years. The school started at year 1963. The school had a special place in our heart as usual as so many good memories and Teachers like our favorite Sonali didimoni, BORDI, Sadhu sir, Nondo sir, LKM and ofcourse Bholada who used to ring the Final bell... chutir ghonta. Lets go back, enrich and celebrate our golden days. I recently did. And reintroduced myself with notun Bordi MS SANJUKTA BASU. It was sad to know our dearest school is not doing so well under financial burden, bad roof, inadequate supply. I will update you with new info and plans how can we all make our school shine again.
