MathematikA started its maiden journey on 3rd December 2017 under the able guidance of Mr. Pranav Kumar, with a handful of students which began to increase with the passing of time and within a few months the number has crossed the limit of fifty and soon expectedly it will be hundred. Mr. Pranav Kumar an experienced maths faculty earlier taught at FIITJEE, NARAYANA, MENTORS, MEDICUS OPTIMUS,BRILLIANT COACHING and other reputed institutes. Presently he felt an urge to start a centre for mathematics seeing the inadequateness of proper teaching facility in Durgapur. The centre is new and an exciting collaboration between excellent students and experienced faculty Mr. Pranav Kumar, produced more than 4000 NITians and 400+ IITians. Here, our common ambition is to strengthen the understanding of the subject of ‘Mathematics’ among students in Durgapur giving exposure to topical seminars i.e. a new approach to learn mathematics. Here, mathematics is taught in a unique manner i.e. students are trained in such a methodical procedure that they become competent enough to solve problems by themselves and interest is grown to excel in the subject. Special shortcuts are taught to crack competitive exams i.e. for state joint exams and JEE(MAIN/ADV). At the completion of syllabus, tests are taken entirely on board pattern as well as competitive pattern, so that the students acquire excellent marks in both board and competitive exams. The 24hrs doubt clearing methodology of Mr. Pranav Kumar makes the idea of teaching maths more effective i.e. doubts are cleared both one to one and group wise at any time of the day.
