Parents who are enrolling their children now were themselves little children when I started teaching here forty years ago. This year I shall NOT admit children of casual, non respectful parents. I've had enough of that kind, and don't need more. First priority will be given to children whose elders have already studied with me. REMEMBER: I teach English, not for merely a trivial ICSE, and definitely not for insignificant school examinations. My first lists are already nearly full... don't imagine you can wait to enroll as long as you like.

LATEST UPDATE ABOUT ADMISSIONS

Class 8 admissions are closed. In case some vacancies open up later, interested parents may inquire in a month or two.

There is a very small number of vacancies in class 9. Contact immediately.

Enrollment for class 8 and 9 2027 will start on April 10th, Friday. Come in person, between 10 and 12 mornings or between 8 and 9 evenings. Please DO NOT enlist casually - some people do that and never turn up at admission time, unnecessarily holding up those on the waiting list who are eager to get in. From this year onwards, preference will be given to those whose family members have studied here earlier: I have discovered that such people are much more genuinely interested in attending my classes, because they know what I have done for their elders - NOT just another tutor who has to be 'adjusted' with other tutors.

ADMISSION NOTICE

Class 8 students will be admitted on Saturday, March 28th, 2026 between 9 and 12 in the morning and, unless the batch is already filled, between 6 and 8 in the evening. One batch only, strictly according to order of enrollment, Xavier's and Carmel only.

Class 9 students will be admitted on Sunday, March 29th, continuing students in the morning (9 to 12) and new students in the evening (6 to 8 ). Two batches only, strictly according to order of enrollment.

Parents of those whose names are on the waiting list should enquire by phone (9932849202) from 30th March onwards, only between 10 and 12 in the mornings or between 8 and 10 in the evenings.

ANNOUNCEMENT

From 2025 class 9 admissions will be reduced to just two batches. Enrollments are almost over; names will stop being registered within a month or two. After that, names can only be put on a wait list, with no guarantee of admission.

I have been regretfully turning away CBSE students for years owing to age and lack of time. Now, my daughter, who has been my best student in 37 years, and has been herself teaching for more than 10, has started handling them at middle and high school range (as well as ICSE and ISC, if they are willing to learn online). She only teaches those whose parents are keen on seeing that they learn good English, not just cover their little school syllabuses. However, she is expensive, unless students study in same-class batches. For details, see notice below.
