Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV)
======================
CMERI, Durgapur has developed a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), named as ROV 200 MKII. It is modularly designed open frame structures with hollow cylindrical buoyancy packages, landing pads and supporting thrusters. It is designed to operate at a depth 200 m. with unlimited operational tank. It is supported with six thrusters placed orthogonaly for ROV motion along three Cartesian axes. This system is also with a high resolution underwater camera and navigational sensor (for measurement of heading angle, X-axis tilt, Y-axis tilt and depth). ROV 200 MKII has successfully passed the requisite criteria on high static & dynamic stability high maneuverability, straight forward motion, straight reverse, left turn, right turn, center turn, having at a particular depth and facility in case of power shut down.

35 HP Sonalika Tractor

Development of Agriculture machinery to suit indigenous needs and conditions has been a continuing activity of CSIR-CMERI. With continuous demand of tractors for farm mechanization CSIR-CMERI developed design know-how of 35 HP Tractor and released the know-how to M/s International Tractors Limited, Hoshiarpur for commercialization during 2002 as Sonalika Tractor. The tractor is suitable for medium and large land holdings.

20 HP Swaraj Tractor

Farm mechanization has immensely contributed towards increased agricultural production through timely farm operations such as tillage, sowing and harvesting etc. Considering the enthusiastic response of the farmers to the ideas of farm mechanization, CSIR-CMERI has developed a Swaraj Tractor, which is most suitable for small and medium land holdings.
