Students of Goenka International School Durgapur showcased their potential at the 69th republic day celebration at Gandhi Maidan Durgapur. In the celebration student took part in parade and spread the colour of patriotism with a dance showcasing our mother lands unity in diversity.We are proud to share that our students bagged the 4th prize for best parade and received the prize from Honorable SDM Durgapur and Commissioner of Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate.

GIS students are participated in Under 18 Chess Championship 2018 (One Day Rapid Tournament) organized by BDCA (Burdwan District Chess Association) on 21.01.18 at Nehru Stadium Durgapur.
Aniket Gupta of class IX secured 2nd position in Under 18 and Md Danish Siddique got a Medal for contesting up to last level.

Our school organized a picnic from Classes Nursery - Class IV at Manalee Aranyak Park, Durgapur. It was a bright sunny day on Jan 17, 2018, when all the students were seen excited to go for their much awaited picnic.
