It is the elected body comprising students representatives that is entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating all student's activities and taking up students welfare issues.The mission of the student's gymkhana is to make a difference in the lives of the students of the institute. Other than different sports and cultural events the gymkhana is also responsible for organizing and conducting RECSTACY, the very popular annual cultural festival of NIT Durgapur as well as eastern India
