The NSHM Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management organized an academic study trip for the students of BBA (TTM), 4th Semester, to North Bengal. The trip aimed to provide
experiential learning, enhance destination knowledge, and expose students to real-world tourism operations and stakeholder interactions.
The selected destinations: - Darjeeling, Tinchuley, and Sittong are prominent emerging and established tourism hubs known for their natural beauty, cultural richness, and sustainable tourism practices.

On 6th March 2026, students visited Zenith Holidays and Orchid Incoming DMC, gaining hands-on experience in travel agency operations and destination management. 🌍

Students from our Hospitality and Tourism programs volunteered at a large-scale corporate event organized by Bhromoner Feriwala for Eastern Finacers Limited on 7th March 2026. With 1500+ guests, this event was a masterclass in planning, coordination, and hospitality!

Our volunteers handled guest reception, registration, guiding, and more with enthusiasm and professionalism!

This experience gave them a taste of real-world hospitality and event management.

- Nahoum & Sons: The century-old Jewish bakery in New Market, serving up timeless treats since 1902!
- Floating Restaurant, West Bengal Tourism: Savoring local flavors on the Hooghly River at Polo Floatel, South Asia's first luxury floating hotel!
- Hotel Sidheshwari Ashram: Legendary for authentic Bengali home-cooked meals at affordable prices since the early 1900s!
- Kolkata's Chinatown: Discovering the rich history and flavors of India's oldest Chinese community in Tiretta Bazaar!
