Purple Haze Chemistry Experiment
A cloud of curiosity rose at Ankuran Science Center as students witnessed the fascinating Purple Haze Experiment using aluminium powder and iodine crystals.
Through this exciting chemistry demonstration, students observed how chemical reactions can produce visible changes, heat, vapour, and dramatic colour effects. The appearance of purple iodine vapour made the session truly memorable and helped students connect classroom chemistry with real-life observation.
At Ankuran, we believe science becomes meaningful when students see, question, observe, and understand.
Safety Note: This experiment was performed only under expert supervision with proper safety precautions.
