Zoom International School observed ‘Jal Pakhwada’ from 16th to 30th April 2026. The fortnight was dedicated to sensitizing students, staff, and the local community about the critical importance of water conservation.
The programme successfully demonstrated the vital role of water in sustaining life, exposed the alarming consequences of water scarcity, and emphasized the urgent need for responsible usage. Activities conducted during Jal Pakhwa: Jal Shapath (Pledge), SMC Meeting, Drawing Competition, Community participation, Lecture on water-borne diseases, Safe handling of drinking water and its role in maintaining oral hygiene, small group meeting of Bal Sansad, and Prize distribution.
The Jal Pakhwada successfully shifted the focus from theoretical knowledge to actionable conservation. The initiative successfully inspired students and staff to adopt mindful water-saving habits, fostering a collective commitment to conserving this precious resource for future generations. Zoom International School remains committed to being a ‘Water-Positive’ campus.
