एमबीए प्रथम सेमेस्टर के छात्रों का शैक्षणिक औद्योगिक भ्रमण – टॉपवर्थ स्टील्स एंड पावर प्राइवेट लिमिटेड (TSPPL), रस्मारा, दुर्ग
भिलाई इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी, दुर्ग के एमबीए प्रथम सेमेस्टर के विद्यार्थियों के लिए दो दिवसीय शैक्षणिक औद्योगिक भ्रमण का सफल आयोजन किया गया। यह भ्रमण प्राचार्य डॉ. एस. के. जायसवाल के निर्देशन तथा एमबीए विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. दलजीत सिंह वाधवा के मार्गदर्शन में, यंग मैनेजर्स एसोसिएशन के समन्वयकों डॉ. श्रवण पांडे एवं डॉ. शुचि शर्मा द्वारा आयोजित किया गया।
विद्यार्थियों ने टॉपवर्थ स्टील्स एंड पावर प्राइवेट लिमिटेड (TSPPL), रस्मारा, दुर्ग का भ्रमण किया, जहां उन्हें उद्योग में उपयोग होने वाली आधुनिक तकनीकों, उत्पादन प्रक्रियाओं, गुणवत्ता प्रबंधन, सुरक्षा मानकों, और कॉर्पोरेट कार्य प्रणाली का प्रत्यक्ष अवलोकन करने का अवसर मिला।
यह औद्योगिक भ्रमण विद्यार्थियों के लिए अत्यंत लाभदायक सिद्ध हुआ, क्योंकि इससे उनकी सैद्धांतिक पढ़ाई और वास्तविक उद्योग अनुभव के बीच की खाई को पाटने में मदद मिली। साथ ही इसने उनके रोज़गार कौशल विकास, कॉर्पोरेट कल्चर की समझ, व्यावहारिक सीख, तथा उद्योग विशेषज्ञों से नेटवर्किंग के अवसर भी प्रदान किए।
भ्रमण के दौरान विभाग के प्राध्यापक डॉ. अभिषेक चक्रवर्ती, सीएमए सुशमा सिंह, डॉ. सौरभ तोमर एवं श्री के. के. डेका भी छात्रों के साथ उपस्थित रहे और विभिन्न औद्योगिक पहलुओं पर विद्यार्थियों का मार्गदर्शन किया।
संस्थान प्रशासन ने इस भ्रमण की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि ऐसे उद्योग भ्रमण छात्रों के समग्र विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं तथा उन्हें भविष्य की औद्योगिक चुनौतियों के लिए तैयार करते हैं।

Educational Tour to Topworth Steels and Power Pvt Ltd an Indian company that was acquired by Amalgam Steel & Power Limited in December 2023 through an insolvency resolution process. The company manufactures various steel and iron products, including sponge iron and steel billets, and operates a manufacturing facility in Durg, Chhattisgarh. The plant includes a DRI plant, a steel melt shop, a rolling mill, and a captive power plant.

The Department of Management conducted a 4 day induction program for the batch 2025-2027. This is the 27th batch of the department.
The induction program was inaugurated by the honorary member secretary Shri I.P Mishra Sir along with the principal Dr. S.K Jaiswal sir.
The first day ended with the cultural programs performed by the senior students.
Day 2 and day 3 were devoted to where students were introduced to various clubs of the college so that they could actively participate in various programs organized in the college and enhance their personality.
Day 4: various team building games were played with the new students, which they thoughly enjoyed.

पहली बार आयोजित 12-दिवसीय प्री-प्लेसमेंट ओरिएंटेशन प्रोग्राम (PPOP) BIT दुर्ग में सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न
दुर्ग, 27 मार्च 2025: भिलाई इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी, दुर्ग ने 17 मार्च से 27 मार्च 2025 तक पहली बार 12-दिवसीय प्री-प्लेसमेंट ओरिएंटेशन प्रोग्राम (PPOP) का सफल आयोजन किया। इस पहल का उद्देश्य 44 युवा कॉस्ट एंड मैनेजमेंट अकाउंटेंट्स (CMAs) को उद्योग के लिए तैयार करना था। यह कार्यक्रम ICMAI-WIRC के चेयरमैन CMA अरिंदम गोस्वामी और BIT दुर्ग के प्रिंसिपल डॉ. अरुण अरोड़ा के प्रयासों से संभव हुआ। कार्यक्रम का समन्वय CMA सुषमा सिंह और BIT दुर्ग के असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर डॉ. सुनील कुमार ने किया, जबकि इसका नेतृत्व प्रबंधन विभाग के प्रमुख डॉ. सत्य वर्धन तिवारी ने किया। कार्यक्रम में ICMAI-WIRC के चेयरमैन CMA अरिंदम गोस्वामी, CMA (डॉ.) संतोष राय (डायरेक्टर, प्रोफेशनल करियर एंड कंप्यूटर्स) और CMA श्रीनिवासन गणेशन (पूर्व निदेशक वित्त, साउथ ईस्टर्न कोलफील्ड्स लिमिटेड) ने छात्रों को प्रेरित किया और उनके उज्जवल भविष्य के लिए शुभकामनाएं दीं। उन्होंने छात्रों को उद्योग में उत्कृष्टता प्राप्त करने और पेशेवर क्षेत्र में अपनी पहचान बनाने के लिए मार्गदर्शन भी दिया।

यह ओरिएंटेशन प्रोग्राम वित्तीय, तकनीकी और सॉफ्ट स्किल्स पर विशेषज्ञों द्वारा संचालित सत्रों की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला प्रस्तुत करता है, जो CMAs के लिए आवश्यक हैं।
दिन-वार मुख्य बिंदु और CMAs के लिए महत्व:
दिन 1 (17 मार्च 2025): कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन CMA अरिंदम गोस्वामी ने किया, जिन्होंने नैतिकता, पेशेवर अखंडता और CMAs के लिए नियामक ढांचे पर जोर दिया। कोड ऑफ एथिक्स और कॉरपोरेट मामलों के मंत्रालय (MCA) के दिशानिर्देशों की समझ पेशेवर विश्वसनीयता बनाए रखने के लिए आवश्यक है। डॉ. सौरभ तोमर ने वित्तीय मॉडलिंग, स्टॉक मार्केट और डेरिवेटिव्स पर जानकारी दी, जो निवेश निर्णय लेने और वित्तीय नियोजन के लिए आवश्यक है।
दिन 2 (18 मार्च 2025): डॉ. मित्तू एस ने लिखित और मौखिक संचार कौशल पर चर्चा की, जो CMAs के लिए रिपोर्ट तैयार करने, प्रस्तुतियों और हितधारकों के साथ बातचीत में महत्वपूर्ण हैं। डॉ. उर्वशी श्रीवास्तव ने साक्षात्कार कौशल और व्यावसायिक शिष्टाचार पर मार्गदर्शन दिया, जिससे युवा CMAs को नौकरी में सफलता प्राप्त करने में मदद मिलेगी।

Bhilai, March 18, 2025: The Western Indian Regional Council (WIRC) of the Institute of Cost Management Accountants of India (ICMAI) is set to host 11-day development program aimed at enhancing the role of Cost Management Accountants (CMAs) in the industry. The program will take place from March 17 to March 27, 2025.

The initiative is being spearheaded by WIRC Chairman CMA Arindam Goswami, alongside Principal of BIT Durg, Dr. Arun Arora, and Organizing Chief CMA Sushma Singh. This comprehensive orientation is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional application, equipping CMA candidates with the necessary skills and insights to thrive in the corporate sector.

Women's self-defense ultimately gives women freedom, as they are able to defend themselves against both mental, emotional and physical challenges. Women who are afraid to express themselves are confined by their fears. Instead, confidence builds freedom.
