We, at the A.K.Goyal Public School, are very well aware of the benefits that physical exercise has on the well-being of an individual, and this is why we always ensure that each and every student of ours do devote at least some time to physical fitness at school itself, by making them participate in sports or other such activities. Physical training helps children become more physically active. Since the brain cannot function in isolation, it needs active cooperation from other organs of the body as well, which eventually helps in keeping the individual running and actively learning. We, at AKGPS, would also like to urge the parents to understand the importance of physical exercises in the life of their children and act accordingly by taking necessary steps. Since children today are more prone to technology and gadgets, it is necessary that parents and guardians make it a point to ask children to make controlled use of these and keep themselves active in physical activities in order to become healthy and responsible citizens of the future.

A.K.GOYAL PUBLIC SCHOOL has introduced for the students of pre-primary on today to increase awareness about the importance of washing hands & encourage people to take up washing hands with soap as a routine practice.

We Teach our kids to follow the steps which act as a good habit in daily routine :

1. Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold). Make sure the water isn't too hot for little hands.

2. Use soap and lather up for about 20 seconds. Antibacterial soap isn't a must — any soap will do.

3. Make sure you get in between your fingers, on the backs of hands, and under the nails where germs like to hang out. And don't forget the wrists!

4. Rinse and dry well with a clean towel.

The toddlers enthusiastically participated in the activities.The aim was to remind our students that handwashing with soap and water is one of the best steps we can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs.

The A.K.GOYAL PUBLIC SCHOOL celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2022.

International Yoga Day was celebrated at AKGPS to promote and help students understand its significance. Yoga is a mind & body workout with strengthening and stretching poses along with deep breathing techniques to relax the mind and body.

Our students learnt about the practice of Yoga and its power to heal the entire body. AKGPS organized sessions and special assemblies for the Students to mark the celebrations of International yoga day. Different asanas were performed by children across grades.

The team expressed their gratitude to the DR.SURESH SINGH (PRINCIPAL) the entire AKGPS team for their immense support in making the session a success.

Stories are a great way to introduce new words and ideas into a child's language, Stories help to develop a child's imagination by introducing new ideas into their world. It encourages the children to realise that they can, and should, Imagine anything they want. The beauty of stories is that they can be super realistic or incredibly fantastical and listening skills are developed as they learn to concentrate. On last day of Summer Camp. The students got a chance to saw moral stories and little toddler's enjoyed action rhymes. Rhymes help children's to Improves Memory and Cognitive Development, Promotes Language Development, Encourages Social and Emotional Development.

Upcycling is the process of taking valuable materials and re-purposing them, turning them into something new that has a different purpose. On 4th Day of Summer Camp. The students were exposed to know to create some useful thing from waste material.

All the classes were engaged in different craft activities. Students through this activity said " Better environment, better tomorrow. Save the planet"

Cooking without fire.
In order to make the students aware of the sweet and salty taste on 3rd Day of Summer Camp. The students were exposed to know to make delicious food without fire. A zestful and stimulating environment was created during the activity by decorating the bread with Jam and cut in Sandwich shape. It was indeed a contentment to watch the students doing wonderful activities.
