DAV Public School, Dumka, witnessed a grand commencement of the new academic session 2026-27 on Wednesday. Principal Shri Dharmendra Dev, along with the entire faculty, extended a warm welcome to the students by applying 'roli-tilak' on their foreheads and showering them with flowers.

To mark the auspicious beginning, students collectively recited the Gayatri Mantra, school prayer, and the National Anthem before entering their classrooms. The entire school campus was filled with enthusiasm, joy, and positive energy.

Addressing the students, Principal Shri Dharmendra Deo elaborated on the core objectives of the DAV institution. He stated, "DAV schools are not confined to mere academic knowledge. Our objective is the holistic development of students by integrating moral values, discipline, Indian culture, and ethics with education, so that they emerge as aware and responsible citizens fostered a deep sense of belonging towards the institutions.

🙏 A New Beginning with Renewed Commitment 🙏
On 5th April the new branch of DAV Public School was ceremoniously inaugurated at Tower Chowk, Dudhani Chowk, Dumka with Vedic havan and sacred chanting.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to the Assistant Regional Officer (Jharkhand Zone-H), Dr. P Hazra Ji, for his guidance, and to the esteemed principals of the DAV family — Dr. Biswadeep Chakraborty, (DAV PAKUR)
Mr. Sanjeev Srivastava,(DAV URJANAGR) Mr.Dharmendra Kumar Deo(Dumka)
Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Mishra (DAV SAHIBGANJ)and other distinguished guests for their gracious presence.
The havan, conducted by Sanskrit teacher Mr. Deepak Kumar Garg Ji, Mr Gopal Yadav and Mr. Sanjay Sarkar along with the participation of students from DAV Pakur, filled the entire atmosphere with spiritual energy.
On this occasion, a walk-in interview was also organized for DAV Sahibganj, Poreyahat, and Dumka, where around 200 candidates participated enthusiastically.
