Ma. Vishwasji Lapalkar accompanied by Sushri Sujatatai Dalvi,Shri Abhayji Bapat,Shri Kiran Kirtane and Shri Mohanjj Ranade called on the Honourable of Shri Bhagat Singh Koshiyari in connection with the year-long massive contact programme "Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat" launched on 2nd September 2019 to commemorate the 50 th Foundation year of Vivekananda Rock Memorial Kanyakumari.During a heart warming Breakfast Meeting Honourable Governor emphatically referred about the book "Rousing Call To Hindu Nation" compiled by Ma, Eknathji Ranade-the Founder of Vivekananda Kendra and the Spirit behind Vivekananda Rock Memorial- by selecting the writings and utterances of Swami Vivekananda pertaining to India's past, present and glorious future and the role of Mother Bharat as World Guru. The Honourable Governor was apprised about the massive contact programme "Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat" and its key aims and objectives and multifarious programmes associated with that. Honourable Governor has kindly consented to visit Vivekananda Kendra and Vivekananda Rock Memorial during this period of celebration.

National Award for Teachers 2012 is conferred to Su. Pranati Roy, Principal, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Tinsukia, (EX PRINCIPAL VKV BOKULONI) on 5th September 2013 for constant endeavour in the field of Education. Hon'ble President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee gave away the award in presence of Minister of HRD, Govt of India, in Vigyan Bhaban, New Delhi.
