Going Global
Different cultures. Different time zones. One shared passion. ♟️✨

At Play Chess Academy Mumbai, the 64 squares have become a bridge connecting young minds across the globe!

Through our Global Chess Coaching program, we are thrilled to see students like Ananya and Aditi tuning in all the way from Germany, analyzing positions and battling it out on the virtual board alongside Ayushee and Anish right here in India.

🌐 Why Global Coaching Matters:
Borderless Learning: Chess has a universal language. It teaches children how to connect, respect, and engage with peers from entirely different backgrounds.

Diverse Play Styles: Competing against international peers exposes students to new strategies and ways of thinking they might not encounter locally.

Flexibility & Focus: Whether it's morning in Munich or evening in Mumbai, our interactive online classrooms keep students engaged and challenged.

It is incredibly inspiring to watch these young players break down boundaries, build international friendships, and sharpen their minds together.

Give your child the advantage of a global classroom. 🚀

The intermediate level awaits! 🏆♟️

Today was an incredibly special milestone at Play Chess Academy Mumbai. We gathered to celebrate our brilliant young minds who have successfully graduated from the Beginner level and are officially stepping up to the Intermediate stage!

Seeing the proud, smiling faces of our students holding their certificates is exactly what every coach lives for. But the highlight of the day came from the students themselves. Many of them stood up to share their personal chess journeys, speaking beautifully about how chess isn't just helping them win matches—it’s helping them stay focused, patient, and logical in their everyday school and personal lives.

Hearing their reflections gave us that profound, rewarding feeling of why we do what we do. We are truly living our mission: Bringing CHESS into Education.

❤️ A Heartfelt Thank You
This milestone belongs just as much to our incredible parents. Thank you for your unwavering consistency, your weekend runs, and the immense effort you put into supporting your child's cognitive growth. We couldn't ask for a better partnership.

And in true chess academy fashion? The moment the official ceremony ended, the certificates were carefully set aside, the boards were unrolled, and the room instantly filled with the familiar sound of ticking clocks and sliding pieces. Because before they went home, they just had to play one more game together. 😉

Here's to the next chapter of complex tactics, deeper focus, and endless possibilities! 🚀

Beyond textbooks and timetables, a different kind of lesson is taking shape. 🎒♟️

Through our Chess in Schools (CIS) initiative, Play Chess Academy Mumbai transforms standard classrooms into hubs of deep focus, strategy, and critical thinking. We aren't just teaching kids how to move pieces—we are equipping them with life skills that matter outside the 64 squares.

🧠 Why Chess Belongs in the Classroom:
Impulse to Intent: Students learn to pause, calculate consequences, and make choices with confidence instead of rushing.

Resilience in Real-Time: Missing a piece or facing a tough position teaches them how to pivot, adapt, and solve problems under pressure.

Focus Over Distraction: In a fast-paced world, watching a room full of young students sit in complete, silent concentration over a complex board is nothing short of magical.

By integrating structured chess coaching into the school curriculum, we are helping the next generation master the ultimate game: thinking for themselves.

One move at a time. One classroom at a time. ✨

Once upon an evening, students gathered around a chessboard that refused to give away its secret.

The obvious move wasn't the best one.
The brilliant move wasn't the first one.
And the winning move... wasn't visible until someone asked the right question.

That was the lesson.

Because sometimes the greatest move on the board isn't made by a piece.

It's made by the mind that learns to see differently.
